Prague Boats

I did the one hour river cruise which wasn’t one hour by the way, it was for 50 minutes only. The audio description isn’t very descriptive; the staff on board weren’t very courteous. Overall a meh experience. You can order soft or hard drinks on board. I’d say that the dinner cruise is probably worth it, this one you can pass.

Took the 1hr round trip boat tour. We arrived at the pier stated on our ticket half an hour before but the pier was closed with police tape. We tried to call but no one answered. Someone eventually responded to email with a link to another location for the boats departure (a 15 minute walk away). We missed our timeslot and then sat on a stationary boat for half an hour (after the staff marched us on and off multiple times because of confusion with our tickets) as we were told the boat couldn't go unless there were more people so we had to keep waiting. When we asked if we could have a refund the attendant didn't know and just advised us to keep waiting on the boat.The boat trip itself was fine, didn't feel very interactive and didn't go very far but the coffees on the boat were nice and you could see the main sights (i.e Prague castle and Charles Bridge). Overall - 2 stars, would not recommend booking in advance.

We went on the Devils tour. It was a 50 minute tour around the river in front of the Charles bridge. Boat was about 25 passengers and fine. Picturesque but there was only a driver and he told us to take a self guided map. He then offered ad hoc commentary (mainly in Czech) with no microphone. So, nice relaxing trip but didn’t learn a lot! Surprised it was #1 on Trip Advisor!

Boat was nice and clean and very smooth, with a great service on board..However, it was a nice sunny day in a glass roofed boat, and they refused to open the roof . All the doors were shut, it was sweltering inside, completely spoilt the trip.Unless you want to bake like a lobster I wouldn't bother.

Nice boat tour, but could have been longer. The boat sails very slow and thus doesn’t get very far. The captain did tell interesting stories about Prague.

I expected a lot more from the price of the dinner cruise and the tone that it sets. It looks and feels like a sophisticated upscale experience, then the buffet opens and the disappointment hits. The food was sooo mid, at $64.95 I expected more. I think they should’ve space out the courses because they ran out of food in the first hour on a 3 hour cruise. We also had unfortunate timing as we were unable to do the full cruise do to river conditions, so we did a loop turning around every hour. Live music was great but they need to add a speaker to the roof top lounge. The table legs were very annoying. I also think it would benefit from a downstairs lounge area. Loved the welcome drink.

This is a great way to see Prague by boat and from a completely different angle we went for the evening buffet which was about £60 per person. With a drink included when you board. The ride was 3 hours long and really good the gentlemen that was serving us was really kind and pleasant throughout the journey. There is also an upstairs viewing deck for even better views which we went upto once we finished eat would recommend it to anyone. Only downside was when paying our drinks bill I was unaware Prague had a tipping culture as when I offered to pay the bill she said Are you not going to tip?" Which I found odd so I said to round it up to the nearest 100. She said to me it's not enough as it only equated to about 50 cent as I was unsure what it equated to so the waitress added on the equivalent tip which I've now found is 10% of the overall bill."

Bad management!Made us wait for 30 min, put us thru a stupid ticket confirmation process of waiting in line even after we had a qr based online ticket. The boat was strictly okay, the staff was stressed out and under pressure. Prague was beautiful at night, absolutely lovely!

Wonderful experience in just adequate time. We went for 50 minutes day ride with light drinks from limited options offered onboard. This ride was included in the sightseeing day package from 'The Prague Tour' and it was much lighter on pocket compared to the other dinner/lunch boat ride packages alone. A nice and slow paced boat ride can be enjoyed from inside or over-the-top deck with enough seating space, neat and tidy with very good customer service on board.

Was satisfied with almost everything. The ticket purchasing process was easy, the boat was on time, and since the boats are electric, there is no noise which was great.The on-board catering service is quite expensive! So, you might want to be aware of that.
