Great restaurant with nice atmosphere and good food and beer. Nice place to go in Strakonice if you are not looking for cheapest places.

disapointed, food was quite low standard and cold (chicken roll was very badly cold) .. soup was super salty, salat was swimming in its own dressing ... at least the girl was nice to us but we will not come back

We've booked this hotel on a local recommendation. It's located under a concrete residential area, which doesn't really appeal. But the backside looks over a park, which makes up for a lot. The building looks quite OK and maintained.The rooms we had were under the roof and therefore strangely formed. The interior was not attractive or cosy, but functional.The room and the bathroom were clean but with almost no amendments,Under the hotel is a restaurant which we visited. It's a pretty typical Czech restaurant. To lighten up the interior they decorated it with a lot of old things, signs and pictures, which was nice.The choice of food was accurate. And really, we didn't expect it to be good, especially for those prices. But on the contrary, the food also looked and tasted good.The breakfast was simple but good, with fresh backed eggs on demand.The beer, Pilsner and a local brew, were served perfectly!In all a very good experience.The staff was friendly and helpful.In general, if you come to Strakonice and you only need to need the hotel to stay over and eat, I really recommend this place.We a little effort of improving the rooms, I would give it a 5 star review. But even now the quality/price ratio is very good!
