Quite expensive for a breakfast.After a while I had time to go for breakfast here. Coffee was good and menu is like in supermarket ... You actually choosing each ingredient for breakfast. Hungry you choose nice portion and end up with breakfast which is nice but cost same as 400g prime steak with all the side dish.So on one side I was very satisfied as the breakfast was great (do not expect refill of coffee like in US) so price of 21$ in CR is quite surprising...For big coffee I would say is not better place around.

Its quite a busy Cafè and they have friendly staff members who can speak in English. They forgot about my coffee order but then when they realized it, they apologized and quickly made one for me. The cakes and cheesecakes are delicious as well. The wash rooms are clean and tidy.

The place is actually really nice. They have very good and tasty waffles. There's a problem though. I ordered tap water to drink and they brought us a jar of water with eucaliptus or whatever herb and lemon and charged us 75 crowns for it. Which again, I did not order. I don't know if this was a language barrier problem or whatever but this never happened to me. If you are not going to bring me just water let me know in advance. The rest of the experiwnce was veey good. The place would have been a 9/10 if this water problem didn't happen. Hope they fix this in the future, I wouldn't mind coming back here to try other waffles.

This was our third trip to Brno. We stayed for two days this time and we were a bit underwhelmed with the food. Kafec was our best meal this trip. It's a small breakfast café with good food, coffee, and tea. The service was extremely good. We had the Royal Breakfast, a side of fried eggs, and a waffle with some toppings. The waffle wasn't hot but still delicious. The ordering style is unique - you're given a plastic-coated menu with markers and you simply mark the items you want. Great idea.Cost was a bit high but overall you're getting more for your money and it's more quiet than the busy areas. If you're willing to spend a bit more, come here.Kavec is a bit hidden if you're looking for it. It's not located on a street, rather it's tucked in the middle of a building at street level with a nice courtyard.

Stopped for a quick coffee very early in the morning & was not disappointed. It is located quite near to the train station. The coffees were really nice & affordable. The staff members were smiley & polite. Overall, it was a good experience!

Great place for breakfast. I would say that one of the most popular for this matter in Brno. I like the concept of ordering, the offer that is very wide and very customizable, and the meals that are delicious. Also very Instagram-friendly!Since the place is popular, it's possible that you won't get a free table. So count with that, just in any case.As I was taking pictures at my last visit of the place, the staff members reacted strangely. I took a picture of the bar with a menu, the waitresses were working there. One waitress looked at me, lifter her eyebrows, then turned to the another waitress and loudly and somehow irritated asked Why did she do that?". Since they didn't even ask me

We visited this nice cafe with some friends in the early hours.The breakfast was very tasty and nicely made.The coffee was well prepared.The staff was very fast and very professional and organized.(not so common in Brno)The prices are very good for the service and the quality offered.Nice design touches.No music though.All and all I would recommend you to visit this place.It’s one of the good ones in Brno.

Made an early morning visit to Kafek while passing by Brno. Super close to the train & bus station. Opens early morning. This one's an absolutely cute Café & a friendly staff & an extensive breakfast menu. Absolutely loved their Cointreau Coffee & Café Latte. Highly recommended ❤️
