Hotel Continental Brno
The hotel is well located close to city center, friendly and largely helpful staff, turtles in lobby pond, parking available, along with restaurant, good breakfast, bar, fitness center, nice views on upper floors, lots of TV channels, a/c., reasonably quiet. Reasonable value for money. Only drawbacks are small, cot-like beds, no coffee in rooms.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The room we were in had kind if a retro vibe but I really liked it. The bathroom was well equipped.

Close to the city centre. Helpful and kind staff. Clean room, bit outdated design. Bed was comfortable but a bit small. Good buffet style breakfast.

I was staying in the Hotel Continental for three nights during a business trip because the place I normally stay at was fully booked.I arrived with the car and parked in the garage that belongs to the hotel. There are plenty of parking spaces but they are quite narrow.The lobby area is ok, the check-in was smooth and friendly with the basic information regarding breakfast, WiFi etc given directly.With three elevators you are being taken to the floor with your respective room. The hallways however are quite dark and a bit old fashioned.The room itself was a mixture of a bit old fashioned with an approach to the modern. That -in my opinion- didn't work out. The color mixture of light green and light brown actually made it that way.The first smell I had in that room was probably from a bit too much desinfectant spray or something. After opening the window for a couple of minutes it was ok.The bed wasn't that good. The mattress way too hard while the pillows were a bit too soft for my taste.WiFi was ok. Not that fast but stable at least.Anyway for 3, 4 nights it worked.Actually really good was the breakfast! A big variety and good quality. You can get fresh omelettes, different juices, even some fresh smoothies. Besides the 'regular' stuff you have in every hotel breakfast.Unfortunately the breakfast room is quite noisy due to the floor and much reflections.Would I choose that hotel again? If my regular hotel is available - no.Is the Hotel Continental a bad hotel? Also no, but it could really use some renovation.

I had 1 bed room. The bed was really comfortable, and TV has a lot of programs. Toilet wasn't part of the bathroom. The breakfast was really delicious. There was also a freshly prepared omelette. I can only recommend this hotel for your stay.

Good hotel, nice breakfastJust wish the hotel had a proper double bed.I did request but the hotel was full and they claimed I had a twin booking despite me showing them it was a double.

2nd visit and still like it.They got overbooked for the Family room (the one we had 1 year ago and actually booked again) but I must admit the reservation office proposed a few options (via email, replying fast and clear) to ensure it will meet our expectations (eventually we agreed for Superior Suite with 2 added beds and better price), so I respect such efforts.Overall it is in fact a historical hotel reflecting the epoch and keeping the standard.Recommended.

Went to the Champagne Garden Bar with my wife for the first time and absolutely loved the location, setting, ambience and decor. The drinks menu was superb as was the amount and variation of drinks on the shelves (gin, vodka, whisky and many others etc) from around the world. The bar tender was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and professional. My wife was even able to play some jazz on the bar piano. Will definitely go again and highly recommended!

A nice experience and an unforgettable adventure - I enjoyed my holiday in Brno and the stay at the hotel as well. A great advantage and definite bonus for all who wish to visit the city: the hotel is right nearby the city center, so most of the tourist attractions are indeed close to it. Would recommend to everyone having a trip to this zone to book at this hotel.
