Much more interesting than you would think. It is a modern museum with lots of examples of Nativity Scenes (Betlem or Bethlehem) which has been a big part of Czech history for centuries. The main exhibit is an amazing Nativity Scene the size of a small lorry. it used to be towed around villages for people to see. The scene is animated with hundreds of moving, carved figures and is very well presented.

It's really cool to see all of this work in one place. I really like the interactive stuff. But the big thing only runs for few minutes before it stops and that's really annoying.

Fourty years after my infancy visit I laid my eyes on the wooden mechanical wonder created in 40 years by 3 associates. Opus magnum abandoned in 1926 after the death of Mr. Provost was saved for us to look and admire. Among the mechanical Bethelems this is not only the largest, but also the best carved.
