It’s a great shop and I make a point of stopping here and picking up a few things every time I come to Prague. Selection is broad and the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and will also happily speak English if you need to. I recommend having them make some selections for you in your favourite styles, you’ll get some good choices. Nice to grab a quick beer from the tap selection on a nice day and their recent specialist beer tastings look really good too.

I visited Pivoteka in September. The shop is well stocked. Very friendly and helpful staff. The saleswoman recommended me some very good beers, for which I thank her sincerely. If I ever visit Prague again, I will come here :)

Stopped in for some beer for my husband after work (while my cold finishes up). The young lady working was super sweet and helped me in English. Their stout collection is incredible! I'm happy to pay more than 30czk for quality beer. Great location, great selection, and friendly staff.

Great place with great beer. Staff knows about beer but the approach is very cold. Customer service needs to be improved.Few months ago the czech sales guy was very nice and friendly but lately there must have been a change in personnel because the situation deteriorated. The first russian seller did not understand the customer needs at all and the second one played noisy post-hardcore music which must be very annoying to most of the confused customers entering the store..Beer on tap was wonderful but the customer experience avarage. Cheers

Wide variety of beersShop looks very niceMore expensive than other Prague beer shopsService was nice and friendly, but I when asked for light fresh beer" I would not expect beer that contains 6% alcohol.The beer I bought was 4 days after it's "best before" date - which is horrendous for beer that costs 180 crowns."
