It’s a park installed inside the walls of an ancient castle (that doesn’t exist anymore). Beautiful and relaxing place. Though it’s free, you have to pay for a ticket to the church, that is the main building of the area.

Great views and a sense of the layers of history in this remarkable city of Prague. Well worth the modest hike up from the tram stop.

nice place to spend and rest. not spoiled by tourism. the view to Vltava river and Prague 's castle is just beautiful, and the church is so impressive with the paintings from the floor to the top. I enjoyed and highly recommend. easy to go by tram.

Beautiful park atop an old fortress that offers stunning views of the city as you meander through the shade of its oaks. Easily reachable via tram. I would rate this a walking-heavy, almost hike-like experience.

The entrance is free to this castle! It has a beautiful church and graveyard and a very shaded garden. On a hot summer day, it's the perfect respite from the heat and the crowds of old Prague.

An absolute must when visiting Prague! Less touristy than prague castle, great views and ideal picnic spots. Didn’t go inside any buildings but the grounds are worth the trip on their own.

Really interesting. Huge variation of buildings, walks, outstanding views ,religious buildings,statues, memorials, castle and a fantastic Graveyard next to a stunning cathedral. The museum is worth visiting as well. Recommended .

The best place to visit in Prague. Although so much busier now with tourists just wanting a quick view and walk on, but there is so much beauty to absorb, if we just stopped to really look.

Vysehrad is a place you must visit while in Prague.It is a large park/citadel complex with an amazingly beautiful cathedral, rotonda and a cemetary where lots of famous people of Czech republic are buried. Its territiry is large so will definitely be good for nice relaxed walks. There are plenty of benches to sit and have a good view. If you will feel hungry - there are some cafes/restaurants with normal prices to try out.It will be good for a romantic walk and a place to go out with kids since it also has a big playground.The entrance to the complex is free. There are two possible entrances to Vysehrad but i would suggest to enter from the red metro line and exit to the riverside. The view on the city is breathtaking!
