I strongly believe that this place is highly underrated and deserves a much higher rating. Whatever we ordered, shown in the pictures, was of top quality. If I had to choose a favorite dish, which is quite difficult to be honest, that’d be probably the marrowbone. Very friendly personnel. If I happen to visit Prague again, I‘ll make sure to go to Amano for dinner.

Dined at Amano with my girlfriend after having noticed its charming appearance the night before (unfortunately for us, we had already ate dinner at that point).We were greeted by welcoming and inviting staff and immediately fell in love with the charisma of the place.I browsed the exciting menu, and went with the fried egg risotto with summer truffles followed by a chocolate fondant.After we got our drinks, a waiter cuts up fresh bread and placed it on our table. Moments later another waiter rocks up and lights a candle. But not just any candle. He explains that this is a beef tallow and parmesan candle, and we are to dip our loafs of bread in the oils as the candle burns. Tasty!While we wait excitedly for our main course, we get another fun treat. A lovely leaf shaped parmesan snack to really get our taste buds going.Next, the main course arrives. A beautifully plated risotto dish with a delicate fried egg on a bed of risotto topped with a generous serving of truffle. It was excuisite! Great flavours, and cooked to perfection.The meal was finished off with a tasty chocolate/pistachio fondant with a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Excellent!I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. 10/10 will eat there again next time I'm in town.Atmosphere 10/10Staff 10/10Food 10/10Pricing 10//10

I was here for dinner at a Saturday evening. I ordered lamb chops with a small salad. It took one hour to get the food prepared even the restaurant was not fully packed. At least the meat quality seemed to be very good and the taste was great. But I paid in the end with water and tea 50 EUR, which was more expensive than in Germany. It seems to be kind of a ripp-off, maybe a tourist trap. This restaurant is run by an Italian, the chef is coming from Czech republic. He did a good job except for the waiting time. The service was friendly and considered special requests regarding food sensitivities, for example they offered toasted gluten free buckwheat bread and coconut oil for a free starter. The atmosphere is due to the concrete walls and kind of hallway not so warm and cosy. At least the lighting made a good atmosphere.

What a great place, lovely interior, very friendly people and great food.The food is prepared with great care, tastes are very well balanced.I would really recommend to pay this place a visit.

This restaurant has nothing to do with Italian cuisine. Small portions and cold food. Waitress was so rude and I felt like she didn’t want us to be there.The only tasty thing was bread that was also cold but manageable.Conclusion: I don’t recommend.

Awful service and subpar foodWe tried this place out as part of Prague Restaurant Week 2023. After walking in it took almost 5 minutes to get seated in a pretty much empty restaurant with multiple waiters making eye contact with me.We were briefly greeted by our waiter who we didn’t see until halfway through our appetizers and then didn’t see for the rest of the night despite them being more attentive to the table sat next to us who came an hour after us.While waiting for our appetizers we noticed there was an option for a wine pairing for our menus however we never had the opportunity to ask for it as no one came to our table and by the time our appetizers came it was too late. Our mains arrived shortly afterwards and were lukewarm/cold.The only person who was attentive and very kind was the bartender, she came by our table more than our waiter a few times throughout the night.As we finished our dinners, we were ready to pay yet no one came to our table. We ended up putting on our coats and going directly to the front to pay for our dinner. Our waitress passed by us multiple times without saying goodbye nor thank you or anything and before I even took out my card, someone who seemed to be the manager of the place that night had the door ready wide open for us.This was an extremely unsatisfactory experience which left us with a bad taste in our mouths. This was overall underwhelming and disappointing.I would not recommend this place to anyone as it’s overpriced for subpar food and the service made the whole experience even worse. There are other and better Italian restaurants around Prague, with much better service and food options.

The very nice styled restaurant offered a great selection of Italian cuisine, way above Pizza and Pasta. Open kitchen, see how your delicious selection is prepared.The guys serving us made a great job helping in selecting food, especially for the kids. Very friendly and kind.The food itself was well presented on a high level, very unique and very delicious.You can feel the passion of the people running that place.Will go there again!

Nice cosy restaurant near centrum not really visibile at first sight but deffinitely worth to visit. Their degustation menu was outstanding and not even pricy. Totally recommendt!

Great place and employees. It has an agreement with Hotel Planet so if you stay in the hotel you can breakfast here for a good price as we did. Besides you will find really friendly employees.Lastly, as breakfast it was very satisfied experience. Overall you should visit here if you are nearby.
