It is the largest square in Prague, and said to be the largest in Europe, but unfortunately a little off the many tourists lanes through the town. Pity as it was the witness to many historical events = the beginning of Hussite revolution, the gathering of pilgrims, the last fight of Czech heroes who killed Reinhard Heydrich 1942

The biggest square in Prague. With a nice park in the middle and nice cafes on the side. And the New Town Hall which offers a nice panoramic view of the city from the top of the tower - not many tourists know about this viewpoint.

Prague is simply beautiful it's a must see city don't miss it. It must must be on your bucket list I love it and I will definitely visit it again

A very nice park in the center of town to take a break from walking around. The public transit stops here can take you anywhere in the city. Every now and then there will be a free concert or small festival/market on the south side.FYI while it is nice during the day it's a popular sleeping spot for the homeless at night. Generally in Prague they keep to themselves but it might be best to stick to the sidewalks around the edges near the tram lines.

Sometimes (once a year, end of April, beginning of May?) there are free concerts on the southern half of the square that are organised by the city. A one afternoon mini-jazz festival. Worth attending.

Nice, large and quiet park in the central area of Prague. It's fine to have a rest here for a while but I think it's a bit overrated.
