I did an intensive course for 6 weeks with Czech Courses and had a great time! Monika who was my teacher is amazing at making you speak Czech language and she will help you understand the grammar in a very simple way. You will get to meet lots of new people there and the environment is pretty chill. Highly recommend it!

I am a regular student at the Vinohrady centre since March 2022. Today I had a chance to attend a special workshop focusing on conversations at this wonderful brand new centre and I absolutely loved the new classroom! It's bright during the day, very clean and cozy, and conveniently located. But what keep me learning from Czech Courses are really the high quality of teaching, fun and creative approaches and the positive energy of the professional tutors. Learning a foreign language is a long and hard journey, but these experts have made it so pleasant for me.

Over the last few years I participated in a lot of their classes (intensive, weekly, by-weekly as well as individual). They offer great flexibility and you can always find options for you as they teach all levels throughout the whole day. You can participate online or in-class at their 2 locations. They facilities are simple but you have everything you need. They have a lot of different teachers, all very professionals. Finally when you start they offer a first session for free to know your level and advise you which class would be the best for you. I highly recommend their service. :)

I am attending the intensive Czech courses with Monika since almost 3 months now. Well, I must say it has been a wonderful journey until now and also fun learning Czech and in my opinion Monika is an excellent teacher with a lot of patience and experience. She made the classes very interactive and interesting which has made me gain the confidence to learn.I would definitely come back to Czech Courses for more.

I took a two-week course for beginners and had an amazing experience! They did a really good job of explaining the fundamentals, and I feel like I have a solid foundation to build off of as I continue to improve my Czech. The staff is lovely, and the room is really cozy and feels like being in a coffee shop. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to seriously start learning Czech.

I've had a great experience both online and in-person with Czech Courses. Most recently, I've been attending weekly classes with Mari in the Prague 7 location. The space, instructor and fellow students all contribute to the overall warm and welcoming vibe. And while we don't focus 100% on grammar (phew ;)), Mari has a way of making learning Czech grammar fun and interesting! She inspires me to study and learn more. Highly recommended!

I took level B1 course that met weekly for 90 minutes to review and brush up on my skills. The instruction was spot on for reading, writing, listening and speaking. I highly recommend Czech Courses for improving your Czech language skills!

I've had a great experience with Czech Courses, and have already booked my follow-on intensive course. I appreciate the extensive time/duration/course types on offer, and love that this particular Prague 7 branch is so close to home for me.

Great learning experience, I went in with almost no knowledge of the Czech language and after two weeks of intensive learning I can say that I'm much more comfortable in my day to day life here in Prague. I can understand the gist of what people at the shops or post office are trying to tell me, I can count, order at a restaurant, etc. Basic things but they matter a lot to feeling like less of an outsider and to understanding what Prague and its people are all about. In the past I tried using Duolingo to learn Czech but it was difficult to make any progress because there's a lot of nuance that doesn't carry between English and Czech. Stuff like gramatical gender, how words change based on context, verb conjugation, etc. is hard to deduce as they have little or no equivalent in English. Having a teacher walk you through all this stuff is really an invaluable aid. That being said, I still use Duolingo to practice at home. Our teacher, Mája, was very friendly, eager to help us learn and she was always adjusting the pacing of the lessons according to our progress and needs. The lessons were a combination of gramar basics, day to day examples but also many many fun activities that get you to practice speaking and understanding the Czech language. Every day Mája would come up with some new game or activity for us to engage in which made the whole process feel less like work and more like play.Few more things to mention: there's very little English used throughout the course, this is intentional so don't be put off by it, after a short while things will start to click and it will broaden your understanding of the language. Also, there's homework sometimes, it doesn't take much time to do and it's a good way to practice at home.Overall I'm really happy I found this place and I plan to continue studying with them. Happy to recommend to anyone else that's struggling to learn this beautiful language! :)
