The food and the service were both great. I had a flank steak and the local beer, both of which were excellent (I am not easy to please on either account). My partner is lactose intolerant and they cheerfully made some minor tweaks with her meal and she was equally ecstatic. The prices may seem a little high—but they’re not when taking into consideration the quality of the food.

If you are into local food and beers, this is the right place. The restaurant and brewary offers the traditional meals including potato pancakes with cabage and smoked meat or sweet dumplings with vanilla sauce. We also recommended the cheese and meat platter with pear marmelade. All was delicious.The beer and lemonades are tasty as well.The service is is fast and this place is very busy during lunch and dinner despite high prices.

You have to come here! Great experience!The food:Starter was soup for me, delicious! I ate a Doe Steak, perfect, medium rare as in the big book, the french fries were house made (so rare these days), the mushroom sauce was so aromatic. The Perfect meal!The staff:Nimble, professional, speaks English, Russian, Czech and possibly more.The place:Unbeatable atmosphere, great (jazz) music, the hockey culture pours from everywhere, the doorhandles are skates. <3The price:Super prices, very reasonable.I loved it all. To me this is the perfect end or beginning of a perfect excursion to the wonderful chateau nearby.The place is amazing. 5 stars, no arguments about it.Deserves the Michelin star! I clapped for the cook/chef, lovely!

Great place!The local beer spirit is an interesting taste.The local dark beer (christmas special 16 Lotr) was very nice as well.The food was fabulous, we went as a group of 3 and everyone was very satisfied!The apple strudel was great!The service was veey quick, all food was delivered hot, ready to eat!Recommended for anyone visiting the castle orjust passing through.

Super cosy restaurant in style of First Czechoslovak Republic. Fast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommended for quick soup or even excellent lunch.

Speechless. Started with place (the atmospere of the restaurant really impressed me) , then perfect service (despite full place, within 10 minutes we got a table) , delicious food for reasonable price. One of the best restaurants we have ever visited.

Lovely place on the small square of Hluboka. Price and quality of the food is very good. Interior decoration is amazing! Sitting outside during summer is awesome as well. Beer is impressive. Overall just wonderful.

Amazing risotto felt like it should be 20 Euros instead it's only 250czk/10 euros. Amazing quality, decent amount of cheese and at a high quality for sure. Little too oily for my liking but will come again
