No private bathroom, but rooms are clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom and shared kitchen are pretty convenient.

The hardness of the mattress makes the rooms borderline unusable, after one night we booked another hotel, even knowing we wouldn't get a refund, because our backs hurt so much. You also don't get a toilet in the room and there is two plug sockets high up on the wall. If you don't mind sleeping on what feels like the floor with a sheet on, the location isn't bad. At all times you could hear people shouting or talking loudly, which either means they were being extremely loud or the walls are thinner than the mattress. There are also very small towels so probably bring your own.

A ‘vintage’ style of hostel, and it is. It is friendly and cozy, and the staff is kind and polite. The rooms as well as shared toilets and showers are very simple, functional and vintage and not in any kind of designer style. For a short stay on a budget it’s a nice place, though the doors are like made from paper so you hear everything and everyone around you, like walking through the hallway.

I booked a room with a double bed. Instead, I got 2 single beds pushed together. I couldn't sleep with my partner because of a 10 cm gap caused by two bed frames pushed together.I informed the receptionist that the heat in my room wasn't working. I was assured it would be turned on and offered an extra blanket for which I had to pay a 10 euro deposit. The heat never came on and the room was so cold that in addition to 2 blankets- I slept in my coat. The room has a sink, which is great but the water has only one temperature - ice cold. Yesterday was 13 degrees, today it is 1 degree. I can't imagine how cold this room will be tonight. I never slept in the arctic tundra, I guess this is as close as I will get to that experience. Prague is beautiful, but staying here makes me feel like I can't wait to get home. The hostel has cute old decorations from the time of communism. Unfortunately the condtions offered by this hostel also feels like I am staying in Prague in the time of communism. If the weather is nice, I guess this would be an OK place to stay. But please if you value your comfort don't consider staying here outside of summer months.

Great under all point of view, I had a problem with check in and the reception found a suitable solution that actually saved the day, much much appreciated. Rooms are absolutely balanced woth price and clean. Position is perfect, very quite area of Prague but still close to the city centre and very well served by public transport. The hostel is between two metro stops of the green line (A) dejvicka and hradcanska that would take you in the city centre in about 15 min, also very high frequency, so losing one ride won't imply huge waiting. As well with the metro there is the possibility to take the tram, several lines are passing close to the hostel. Absolutely recommended.

Showers in the private dorm aren’t lockable. Not ideal when sharing with 9 lads. Other than that dorms were okCan’t beat a bit of table tennis though.

Reasonable, clean, can be a bit noisy as walls are thin and the self closing doors shake the walls with each use.Stayed there several times before the prices went up.At the moment there are better places for that price...

Economic Stay in Prague 8Liked · 1. Room nice and specious, it was facing the nice small lane.2. The lift/elevator was good.3. location was peaceful, Prague castle was 15mins walking distance. Can take tram and metro to city center (Prague 1). Area is vey safe, have few shops to buy groceries near by.4. The kitchen was perfect with kettle, induction oven, large fridge, nice utensils.5. The cleaning staff was helpful.6. The room has cupboard, nice dressing table with mirror and wash basin.Disliked · 1. The Toilet door locks seems to be from the times of Austro-Hungarian Empire.2. The toilet and bath room were missing cloth hanger3. The in room wash basin has only cold water, some hot water would have been helpful.4. The lighting in the room was very very dim, it was hearting our eyes. That need to be changed. We had requested to change those, but none came. Towles given were very small. They informed that guests are stealing towel and hair dryer's, so to get those we need to pay a deposit.

Very cozy hostel with a friendly atmosphere. Nice staff, warm and welcoming lobby, good location and clean common areas. The only downside are the beds, which are very hard and uncomfortable. But considering it’s a hostel in a “party” city, I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it got at night.
