PRAGL GLASS EXPERIENCE CENTER

A mind-blowing glass-blowing experience!After the usual sight-seeing through Prague's city and museums, we were looking for a unique and special experience. We saw this little gem while walking in the old town and booked an appointment with the amazing and firendly David. This is definitely a one-in-a-lifetime experience that we highly recommend! There are several options with respect to time, budget and glass piece that one can create. Mind the need to collect the piece the day after, to wait for it to cool down (but even in this they are extremely flexible and helpful, also with possibilities for shipping).David walked us through this art, explained us the history and techniques, answered every question we had... all of this while enjoying some beer he offered us in one of his hand-made glasses. We then crafted together our very own beer-glass: we chose the colors and shape, and were patiently guided into helping him creating this wonderful and unique souvenir.We couldn't be happier of this experience and we wish to be back in Prague soon to craft a second one!!Definitely worth 10 stars out of 5!

Bohemia Glass-blowing Rhapsody!We were in Prague for my birthday and walking around Old Town, close to the Astronomical Clock, when we found Prague Glass Experience (PRAGL). Three of us signed up for an hour under the supervision of Master Glassblower/Australian David to blow our own unique bohemian glass treasure. It was an extremely fun time in learning to blow glass and was just like being on NETFLICK’s Blow Away (David knows many of the people on the show)! You also get offered glassblower beer in a hand made glass. While it takes a day for your treasure to cool down, they opened early so we could pick up our glasses before we left the city. This is my favorite memory for 2022!

We had the most amazing time with Vladimír and Kristina. Vladimír is so incredibly talented and helped our vision become reality. Kristina was so sweet and kind. This is the perfect family activity while you're in Prague. You can easily make reservations online and they're very responsive to email as well. We have beautiful souvenirs that we helped create!

This was so cool! My family got to take turns participating in creating our own pieces of glasswork. David, the master glassblower, did all the tough/dangerous stuff, but we got to specify color and shape as well as help with shaping, blowing, and a few other glass making moves. We spent 3 days in Prague, seeing some beautiful sights, and our visit to PRAGL was definitely the highlight of our trip. We picked up our cooled glass the next day on our way back home. Highly recommended. Make a reservation and check it out!

Unique experience . We booked a family packet for three and had sixty minutes to create one glass product for each of us. David, the glass master, was friendly , cheerful and attentive. However the experience overall went by quite fast , there isn’t much time for you to think and design your product before the section so i recommend you to design and think about your idea carefully beforehand , in order to have the product that satisfying and to have no regrets after , like me with the color of my cup . Overall, the experience was definitely worth a visit in life time. You will get to create a one and only product and also get great pictures during the section.

Best hidden gem I ever accidentally walked into! It was around 32 USD to make a cup one-on-one with David. You get to pick your own shape and colors for the object, and you get to help out a little bit with the flattening of the bottom, the blowing, and the blowtorch-ing of the base. He does the hard parts, which is probably for the best.David is so fun and kind! He let me have a glass of special “glassblower’s beer” and told me all about his life in Australia and Prague.Be sure not to do this on your last day in Prague because the glass needs a day to cool!

When you get tired of taking selfies go and do something really memorable. Excellent hosts (Kristina and David) and free beer together with learning and partaking in a craft amount to an unforgettable experience and a unique souvenir. Even our teenagers enjoyed making a glass piece. If you missed it you have a reason to return to Prague :)
