There are so many ways to get up to this place, multiple lifts, a street, probably some buses as well. The worst decision is to hike up and that’s what I did. Still no regrets. Anyways the views are amazing, but it can be quite steep sometimes. Up there you’ll find a small stand selling pivo, ice cream and other small things and the restaurant.

If you're a foreigner, there are a few pitfalls to be mindful of:First and foremost: their payment provider will try to scam you. When paying with a card, you will be offered a conversion that will upcharge by 8%. Just choose to pay in crowns, so your local bank will do the conversion which in most cases will be more favourable.Also: Given that you're reading English reviews, this hotel is probably not family friendly by your standards.They openly serve hard alcohol (~40%) at the breakfast buffet. That may cause compilations when you travel with teenagers. It may also put you in a difficult spot if you're struggling to stay dry.When I was here, they played erotic songs such as you can leave your hat on" during the breakfast.Don't get me wrong: The staff is friendly and accommodating. Lunch at 1100m height at Jested tower was great experience.

Did not stay in the hotel. Beautiful views. Service was not very good. Tried to order food from the kids menu because they did not offer it in adult portions and they refused. Worth the trip for the view, but not for a meal.

Tasty bites and warm green tea after an epic winter wonderland snow hike up from the tram. Many trails leading upward so dont worry if you follow your own path. Carry a map it will help if leery but for me the snow allowed me to know when i was on a used or unused path. I chose unused and the adventure of solitude and silence was the much needed sunny and snowy winter walk. Its brisk with wind when i made the summit, so pack something for the top.

This feedback is for the restaurant and bar. Very good experience, nice and profi staff, good food, can pay by card. Wish they have coffee from some local roasters.

Very unpleasant service in restaurant, treating guests as Intruders. Waiters don't speak English and don't even try to communicate.

Stunning location. That's about it.We decided to spend the night at Ještěd Tower Hotel after a half day of hiking in the surrounding area.Public areas: We missed a comfy area outside our suite where we could have a glass of wine, and relax. No such place was found during our stay. There's lots of tables and hard chairs, presumably to accommodate big groups for meals.The restaurant (dinner): the white tablecloth, table napkins and candle gave us a very good first impression unfortunately it vanished just as fast when opening the menu and hearing the background music. Forget about vegetarian alternatives besides anoverpriced salad. The music was the worst, think of AM radio station playing The Pretty Things throughout an outdated sound system. Its everywhere and loud.Food. We got lucky to get some fried cheese with fried potatoes (not on the menu) for a hefty price. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and fresh.The suite. Minimal amenities but charming sort of retro in tune with the architecture. OK bed and clean.One annoying thing was the never ending noise of the wind through the air throttles and having to hear the voices and TV of our neighbours...

We ordered ice creams and pancakes. Prices are good as for the location. Ice creams were almost instantly melted because of hot berries. Pancakes were weird as I didn’t expect micro size and this is what you get at this price - three miniatures of very light pancakes. I think it should be mentioned in the menu as it’s one of the most expensive positions in the desert menu. Crodino was alright but bottled anyway, the lemonade (most expensive in drink menu) wasn’t very good, it states “lemonade with raspberry and lime” but besides nice colour it’s not very tasty - it was like carbonated water with a lot of those calcium tablets with raspberry taste and a hint of lime when you squeeze it but not to much. Not refreshing at all. Overall I recommend to eat there as everything looks good and plates looks taken with professional care, the waiters are really there and are very helping. Also prepare if you say you’ll pAy “by cash” they understand you mean paying in coronas. The place begins to be crowded about 11 o clock but before it’s a loads of free space in a restaurant. The interior is great but we were in a part of dining room (there are 3 separate as I could see and 2 of them were closed not available to sit) which was in my option the worst - those tables and chairs were not in a spirit of the whole jested building.
