MUZEUM VÁLKY 1866
Important place for 19th century history lovers. The museum is small and takes at most 30-45 minutes to go through everything they have on show. A bit more important is to climb up the adjacent observation tower (ticket bundle possible) and drive a bit to have a stroll in the nearby Svíb forest where the heaviest melee fights took place in 1866.

Very nice museum of 1866 War (Austria, Czech, Saxon vs. Prussia; 500 000 soldiers), cheap, with Czech, English and Deutsch texts. Highly recommend. The high lookout tower is near to museum.

A place with a strong atmosphere. For those who are at least a little bit interested in history one of the must stops.Nice museum, offers a lot of interesting information.

You can really feel the atmosphere of that war, an internecine warfare for the power and influence in Europe. Preparation of other wars. I also recommend to visit the nearby cemeteries and the ossuary.
