Wow what a beautiful castle. I need to admit that I didn’t go inside because it was Monday. Still I was able to sneak a peek inside because the gates were opened. You can see the castle perfectly from the outside and if you know how sou can see the famous bridge as well which is really impressive because there’s no other bridge like this in the world

The chateau deserves some EU monetary push, as the conglomerate of the chateau, square and gardens deserves massive overdose of tourist. The circular lane of Na Zadomi" ("House back") embracing the rear walls of original defense system is one of a kind. The north Eastern walls are supported by an interesting rock formations with the flat tops. The wooden bridge and the wall of dwarfs in the gardens shall please even the bored kids. Enjoy!"

This place has quite long history and is worth every penny to visit. Guide, an older lady, had plenty of little secrets to share about the place. If you ever will be nearby, hop in. It's charming.

Lovely place to visit, the old castle is a must and is free to enter. There are some nice gardens in the castle grounds. All around the town are walks that have beautiful vistas which are a photographers dream. Highly recommended.

Nice private owned castle. Late 19th and early 20th century furniture. Restaurant in castle is great with superb view.

The castle is really nice and charming. However, to see inside the castle, it is mandatory to do so with a guide. Which in general is not a problem. But in our case, the guide hardly spoke/understodd English. We received a leaflet in Dutch, describing a bit of all the room. But it is never the same as the info you get from a guide. The guide was sweet and tried, bit there was no point asking her questions. So a major improvement would be to have guided tours in english as well!!

I love all the history around here therefore if you ask me how it was I will always tell you that it's worth the trip and see it with your own eyes. Fabulous.
