OREA Resort Devět Skal

Pros:- The location was excellent and the hotel has stunning views of the Milovský rybnik!- Comfortable and spacious room. Our bathroom was spotlessly clean :)- We had half-board and I must admit it was just ok (We previously stayed at OREA Resort Horizont Šumava and it is impossible no to compare both hotels from the same chain). The options for breakfast/dinner buffet were fine but there is definitely a space for improvement.- Modern TV with connection to Youtube and Netflix- There was tea/coffee maker and small refrigerator in our room.- The WiFi worked perfectly fine- Baby coat with nice lining included.- Staff at the reception & dinning room were very polite and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome.- I tried the anti-stress massage and the Filipina masseuse was absolutely extraordinary.- The lobby bar had a relaxing environment and great drinking options (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).- Private parking- Plenty of hiking trails and maps are available to explore nearby places.Cons:- No bathrobe provided- We booked two connected rooms and in none of them the safe boxes were working.- The balconies in both our rooms were full of spider webs.- The pillows were very very soft- I do not understand how is it possible that in OREA Resort Horizont Šumava the drinks are included in the overall price but in this hotel you have to pay for the drinks later on ?- In the second day during our stay, we tried resting in the afternoon but it was impossible (we were able to hear the loud voices, the phones ringing and hover of the cleaning ladies).- The closing system of the main room doors is definitely not sound proof at all (no matter how careful a person can be, the doors are quite a noisy and ear-splitting while being closed).

This was our second time at this Orea reaort, we spent 3 nights over New Years Eve with our 5 years old daughter and had a great time. The room was very well appointed and clean, the food in the restaurant was great, the staff overall very friendly and nice. Our daughter visited the kids club and had a great time, the 3 animators were great (2 girls and one boy). The swimming pool area was also great to have.The New Years Eve party was lots of fun, good food and music plus the fireworks!Thank you all, it was great, we will be back to hike some more in the area and ski.

Just stayed here with a large group. Everything was fabulous. The staff were nice. The buffet was good. The rooms were clean. I had a great, relaxing time as did many of my coworkers.

Welcome drink at the arrival. Professional receptionist very well informed about the hotel services.Contemporary designed rooms with a balcony are very quite. Large based bed and pillows are comfortable. Coffee kettle with servings free bottled water.Bathroom with large mirror and beautiful design. Bio showergel. Safety locker and mini fridge. Big screen TV, phone extra water glass, makup table and puff.Large clothing storage with hangers. Only missing personal items (cotton, cotton stick, small sewing kit).Room Cleanless is very good. Restaurant is very good price and menu is good.

Nice hotel directly located on a small fine lake. The resort is mainly focused on families but also on larger travel groups and offers a lot of leisure aktivities for this purpose.The hotel room corresponds to the current state of the art but the rooms are a bit soundproofed. During the stay the staff was always friendly and helpful.Good selection at the breakfast buffet and the food in the restaurant was tasty as well.If you have not booked over the website of the hotel you have to pay additonally a parking fee but the amount is not very high.

Food was disgusting, for breakfast they used the leftovers from dinner. Poor variety of fruits and vegetables (they don’t have even tomatoes!)

Orea Devet Skal is in very good location, view on the lake is just perfect. Many trips and hikes you can do around. There is also swimming pool, sauna for extra charge and you need to book it in advance - some hours are fully booked. The food was good, I would appreciate more selection (e.x. deserts or sweet pastry for breakfast, pancakes or fruit). Service was perfect and nice to guests. We enjoyed family time very much.

Nice and cosy hotel! Small rooms, but sufficient for short stay. Very comfy beds!Breakfast and dinners were local cuisine, plenty of options for kids.

Great hotel for family vacation. Kid & pet friendly. Tasty food, clean rooms and lot of activities inside and nearby. Hotel staff was always helpful.

Milovy and all the surrounded forests and hills are great place to relax with your family or just for couple to do hiking or bicycling. Although hotel is nicely renovated, you can still see the architecture is few decades back. Our room was spacious, comfortable and modern. Breakfast is very rich and I can also recommend hotel's buffet dinner, which can be seen as bit expensive but absolutely worth that price. We had great time here and considering to return back in the future.
