Rock for People is one of the most popular Czech festivals, true love brand, located at the airfield near the city of Hradec Kralove.It's been organised for almost three decades, so the production is really experienced by now and most of the things work like a well-oiled machine - this means all the things a festival-goer needs to fully enjoy the music and party hard are here.With that said, there are still things to improve (for example, the system of returning reusable cups, especially if you're in a group), the festival is hugely overpriced (paying 15.000 CZK for 3 days is normal) and the lineups are crazy inconsistent - one year can be insanely boring, whereas another is packed with so many amazing bands you would need to clone yourself to make it all.Despite all the small criticism, a good Rock for People year is a top rock holiday and memory that you'll keep forever <3

Music is great, fans are pretty good, the organizers are an absolute failure. Even getting to the festival was a pain on the first day, since they send a single bus to the train station during the main hour, so anyone who wanted to get in after the first stop had to walk. After getting close to the area, the bus had to go through the same gate as all the cars going to the camp, so we were sitting in a hot bus for 30 minutes with no AC.After arriving in the area, we wanted to rent a locker, since they were advertised on the website - Nope, only if you got camp access. So we had to throw out plenty of stuff from our backpacks in the trash before getting into the area.The access to free drinking water is nice, but the lack of toilets, and NO place to wash your hands nearby is much worse. Then the first band started - Lorna Shore - and the sound mix was abyssmal, could not hear the singer at all. The next few bands got a bit better, but still not good enough. And then came the main event, sorry, I misspoke, main problem - Slipknot. After waiting for hour and a half in front of the stage, the band started and plenty of people started pushing and hitting everyone around, and I don't mean moshing, I mean pushing everyone around so hard, it was hard to breathe, and security did NOTHING, well maybe because THEY PUT 3 SECURITY GUYS AT IN FRONT OF THE MAIN STAGE. Atleast Bloodywood made the end of the day a bit better.Day 2 was another dissapointment - I got some stitches done recently, and forgot to get a bandaid before getting to the festival. I saw a pharmacy tent on day 1, so I thought No problem

Pokud chcete ochutnat především mezinárodní tvrdší scénu. Je RFP jasná volba.Pokud bych měl být přísný, tak mě trochu mrzí občerstvení na festivalu. Je jasné, že se zde najíte v bufetovém stylu a že ceny nejsou nejníže, ale bylo by fajn dostat odpovídající kvalitu - zejména teplotu. Studená klobása, ale i třeba nudle prostě neoslní.

I was here at 2012, 2014 and 2023. Definetly not for the last time. The greatest czech festival that you have to go! Its growing each year in every aspect as great world cuisine, beer, bands in line-up, hospitality at all. Always is things to get better, as number of toilets, chill zones and shade. But the bands and everything is just splendedly amazing. Thank you for being part of my life. Keep going and I cannot wait what will happen at 2026 when Rock for People is going to have 30th birthday. Slipknot again? Maggot 4ever! Thank you, we love you!

Ive been visiting this festival for over 10 years. The atmosphere is great.

Naozaj sa sťažujete, že vám tri dni v roku hrá neco tak, že to slyšíte cez okno? Príďte na kolej Na Kotli, tam vám bude blbá pouť vyhrávať celé tri mesiace! :)

Cudowny festiwal na światowym poziomie. Opcja VIP to luksus jaki się nie mieści w głowie - dwupoziomowy taras, zadaszony bar, a w cenie wybitne jedzenie i picie!!
