Very welcoming staff, excellent food, real Czech cuisine, charming atmosphere of the old Prague, due to its location absolutely folksy prices. We were so satisfied that we came back for dinner several times and it was certainly not our last visit. Unlike some restaurants in the area, this is not a tourist trap, but an authentic Old Prague Town pub. Highly recommended to visit.

Excellent place just on the Main Street. The hosts were very gentle, speak enough English for explaining the plates and are fast. The portions could be larger than an average person may expects, what it is perfect. The goulash had an incredible flavor, a lot of meat and sauce. It was really delicious. The stuff potatoes with smoked meat and spinach were fantastic. Very original flavor. Good place to try folkloric food. The prices are among 185 and 195.

Traditional Czech pub/restaurant. Welcoming staff; tender pork with nicely steamed dumplings and not-too-garlicky spinach. Fair prices considering its proximity to the castle. Fresh Pilsner Urquell on tap!Visited January 2023.

Amazing place. Right at the the of your tour to the Prague castle. Very cheap. HUGE portions. Delicious. Old looking and cozy.Small tip. Let people feel more welcome especially tourists. I feel so sad that this place doesn’t have a lot of reviews. More visitors should try it. Please welcome them and let them see what an amazing restaurant you have.

Relaxed and friendly place with traditional Czech food and environment. We enjoyed our dinner, the portions were generous and tasty and the beer fresh and refreshing. The location is historically interesting - Jan Neruda, famous Czech writer and poet lived here! This added value to our visit. Highly recommended.

A great inn in close proximity to Karlov bridge. It felt like catered to locals rather then tourists. Quick service and great atmosphere. It's on a smaller side and during our visit at around 7-8pm it was completely full. No table was empty for more than a couple minutes. A great option for when you're short on money - big portions and excellent food for half the price other places offer. For a dinner for two with two beers and shared starter and dessert we paid 700Kč. I do have to say that the toilets were in a bad state though, hence the 4/5.

The food was good but the service was not friendly and the staff didn't seem to care about you at all or they didn't want to be there.

We have chicken broth and hot wine.Main were Spicy beef goulash, very delicious. Roasted pork neck, good.Good values food, friendly people doing their best

Friendly staff, delicious food and quite a lot of traditional food at the restaurant, recommend you to try it when you come to Prague and I will definitely come back if I have a chance to come back to Prague.
