The renovated log cabin of an old organist from Prague provides an inordinately cozy if unlikely setting for an upscale restaurant. The dining space with an open kitchen is the world’s one-of-a-kind. The chef’s sense for pairings is refined, thinking put into everything tangible. Sturgeon was exquisite, craft beer great. Thanks for doing this and see you again soon.

I didn’t imagine I will get to eat such amazing food on a hiking trip.We got a three course meal and it was fantastic… The food was delicious on another level, the restaurant interior was cozy downstairs and exciting upstairs, owner’s attention to detail and friendliness just made the best experience for us. I could come to Czechia even only for this place again. I wish all the luck and further success to the owners in their adventurous endavour. ☺️

Stayed for a long weekend in the - beautifully restored - pension. We enjoyed lunch on the terrace outside (traditional Czech breadnoodles in a carrot sauce with meat, very nice) and then dined inside in the evening. All locally sourced products, very tasty! Definitely worth it! (And don’t forget the Dutch cheese/Italian meat platter with beer as a well-earned reward after a day’s hike).

Very good! The food it was out of this word! So so good! We found it by chance and the stuff is super friendly. While the food was being prepared they did a tour with us to present the open kitchen and the rest of property. We had this lovely food by the terrace in a sunny day: true definition of a beautiful day at the countryside.

This place is truly fantastic. The attention to detail with their meals is next level, the ingredients used are fresh, and it is clear that the owners and chefs truly care about the food that they make. The rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean. This place is about the experience of eating excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere - offering something seldom found outside of Prague.I feel it is necessary to address some of the others less positive reviews here. The menu immediately makes it clear that this place values time spent cooking with high quality ingredients and care - therefore the prices might be slightly higher than other restaurants in the area. So if you are going to sit down in a restaurant you might as well be an adult and check the prices beforehand to make sure it is something you are comfortable with. Truly a great experience! Would return again.

If you are looking for big cheap plates of fried food - this place is not for you. I love the fact that the owners are very open and honest about it. If you like food that is more delicate and thoughtful, this is an amazing find. The seating is limited so you must book in advance.It is cozy and beautifully refurbished. We visited twice during our stay, once for a standard menu meal and once for the degustation menu. We were ecstatic with both.We had dishes such as risotto with mushrooms that were foraged from the local forest that morning and homemade crème Brule. So while it isn't cheap by Czech countryside standards - the care and time that goes into the food makes it excellent value. The wine list was reasonably priced too.I can't wait to visit again.

A lovely place with lovely owners. As we were not aware of this place, we had lunch elsewhere. That place was a disappointment and here we wanted to order something small - we had soup, starters and dessert and all were delicious, culinary experience and locally sourced. It was a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area (cca 30-40percent), but quite frankly, the food is so good and professionally prepared they could be charging more. We will be definitely coming again when around.
