We had very high expectations due to a friend recommendation, and even though we had a nice meal, will not place this restaurant in my top #10.The dishes are very well presented, and in general very tasty. The handmade bread was top as appetizer. Out of the 4 dishes we ordered 3 were delicious, however the pasta Cacio e Peppe was quite disappointing as it barely has taste of Cacio.The place is fabulous, but we were not impress with the service. Either they take away the plate as soon as they are empty (a bit stressful) or they take 15min to bring the coffee and another 15min for the bill.Also it was the only place we have been in Prague that was not happy to take the tip in the credit, but with a double payment on the card (extra bank fees for us) or by cash.

Great address if you’re looking for an Italian fine dining place in Prague.Super cozy atmosphere and the wine cellar downstairs is strikingly stunning.The ingredients of every course tasted fresh in themselves and you’ll notice that everything is a product of great quality.Never had such good carrots - Chapeau !!Would still have loved to see a bit more simplicity in the presentation, as well as in the combination of flavors. Great experience though :-)

Delicious dinner at this Michelin guide restaurant. We sat in the main dining room in the front. Nice and simple decor.Service was good and food was delicious. The truffle risotto was divine!!!!!!!! A must try. We also had the beef tartare, the grilled sea-bass (filet and deboned table side), fried zucchini, linguini with mussels and the tiramisu.They have an excellent wine list. Charles, the sommelier, helped us with our selections which was great! If you’re ever in Prague, add this one to your list.

After a morning enjoying some sightseeing, you walked into La Finestra and it felt like you was somewhere else, calm and totally relaxed. Food was amazing as was the service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Italian wine selection is very large. Food very good, just my octopus could have used a bit more flavor. Deserts were sublime, croissant ice cream was the biggest hit on a chocolate cake.

Visiting Prague from London and had dinner at La Finestra. I had an enjoyable time but there were a few issues which need to be addressed to justify the price points and portion sizeThe tortellini in the consommé was excellent and light, however the capon consommé was far too oily and lacked any significant flavour making the dish quite dull. The oil can easily be removed with more careThe Crab cappellacci has some beautiful flavours extenuated by the deep and rich shellfish velouté. The onion and cucumber on top was a refreshing texture. Unfortunately, I found a rather big piece of crab shell and other small pieces in my 5 tortellinis which isn't justifiable considering the price point for this item. I'm paying 100 czk for one tortellini, it's reasonable to expect it to have no shell. Flavours were great overall but execution was lackingThe dessert was a triumph, the cake was excellent and moist, and the croissant ice cream is genius and super buttery.Overall I believe when charging a premium compared to other fine dining establishments in Prague, you have to ensure every dish is perfect. Unfortunately, this was not the case at La Finestra.

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant. I had dinner here on my last night in Prague and I cannot stress how wonderful it was. The food was impeccable and the service was some of the best I've ever had. My experience made for a wonderful birthday treat. I will definitely be returning when I am back in Prague!

The place is very cute. The entrees were good but the portions are very small. The mains took an hour to come and although they were not bad, they lacked flavor. We got a steak that tasted like nothing, there was no sauce and no taste of salt and pepper. The pasta dishes were mediocre, for an Italian restaurant you’d expect to be able to taste the sauce on the pasta but it was packing flavor.
