The meal was delicious. There are many vegeterian options and salads also. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was very cozy with stone walls. Good place to have dinner at especially winter evenings.

First day in Prague. Saw what seemed to be lots of locals here. Stopped for beer and snack. Sausage appetizer was fantastic as was the ice cream crepe and beer. Prices very very reasonable especially given our last beer was at JFK airport...all beers even the *light* beers were at least $14 at JFK.. Much better beer here for fraction of the price. Sat on patio. Fun people watching. Recommend!

The staff here are so relaxed but attentive. We had the fresh lemonade with orange (so refreshing!) and spent a while just relaxing before deciding to eat. The fresh pasta is amazing and my husband’s grilled salmon was perfect (and he’s very fussy about that!). Highly recommend

After a cold walkabout in Prague this was the perfect place for traditional goulash. Lovely wine, cosy atmosphere and brilliant service :)

Fascinating place and food. There were no tables to sit for 5 of us. Vlastimel, one of the server’s there told us to wait about 15-30 minutes and he would have us a table ready outside. Within 10 mins he had a table ready to go. Throughout the whole meal, Valst took more than good care of us. Check on us often to make sure we had what we needed. Do your self a favor and get over there and have anything on the menu. Oh and ask for Vlast!

Visited here twice in the space of four days recently and what a food treat - amazing choice and incredible value. The traditional Czech dishes are a speciality and an absolute must - especially the Pork Knuckle. The best I've ever had . I would suggest phoning ahead and book if you want to be sure of a table as it is very popular. EXCELLENT
