I love Kolektor. It's my number one place to go to work, read a book, meet with friends or just have a nice breakfast or lunch. They used to have average pastries but now it got much better. I can see they are constant working on improvements. They change tastes on the menu breakfast/brunch (which you can have almost all day) from time to time but the idea always stays the same: so they have two types of sandwiches (vegan/vegetarian and meat), omelette, sausages, noodles, packages. During the week you get a soup during lunch time.

Honestly, it’s a great space to sit down, study or just read. It can be full, but you should be able to find a table easily anyway. Very “æsthetic” and with good choice of food and drinks.

Outstanding food for brunch. So nicely presented, decent portion, bomb of flavours. Highly recommend the duck on toast if you are feeling a bit adventurous or the avocado on toast if you want a guaranteed success. Piece of focaccia on the side and you will be satisfied until dinner!

I like the hip and modern interior design of the place.There are a lot of people working here, including creative folks. (I saw someone on an Adobe app, and someone on a 3D modelling app, and lots of people were on MacBooks.)It was really busy and loud on all of my visits.Most tables are close to power sockets, but the power sockets are not accessible from every seat.After the sun sets, the place is lit quite dimly.I don't think I would visit this place regularly to work, but it does seem to be a popular option for that.The food and drinks I tried:The iced čokoláda (7/10) was a bit more bitter than I expected.The iced kakao (8/10) is sweeter, and I prefer it to the čokoláda.The chickpea goulash (6/10) was interesting, and I liked the bitter mushrooms in it. The portion was a bit small though.The eggplant and goat cheese sandwich (6/10) had nice tomatoes in it, but it was a little salty on its own.

One of the hippiest spaces in Prague. They used to have great coffee, tap beer, cakes and snacks (as on the photos) and nice service. Unfortunately recently the food quality is worse and the prices are highest in Prague.

This is probably the best day time cafe that I have been to work from - and I have been working remotely for 3 years. Drinks, food, service - all amazing. The best part is the atmosphere though - people are there with kids, dogs, friends, laptops, and, hard to believe, but believe me that EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT TIME.Also, it becomes a great evening cafe for having drinks and vibing to their DJs' music. Needless to say I loved the place.

Huge functionalist space of the national gallery meets great specialty coffee and craft beer (and other tasty things, these are what I'm doing there :D). Highly recommend, but expect crowds during the weekends and ordering and picking-up at the bar.

I was surprised, had to say. The service is really fast even when there was lot of people. Not usual in this type of designed, hipster" coffee places. Toast with avocado was really delicious. Same the coffee. Building itself is wonderful. Just the music was too loud and too "party" for Saturday noon."
