Golf - Austerlitz

Had our wedding reception here last year. Beautiful place, staff are amazing. Food is perfect. Been back today for lunch. Was nice to see staff remembered us. Highly recommended.

I receive invitation to play tournament there, so I took the opportunity since I did not play the course for last 10years. Its a bit difficult to reach the course these days since the construction in the city. Austerlitz offer nice accomodation directly at course, so very covenient. Parking lot is not big, but there is another one next to the driving range, which by the way is quite a big and there is lot of opportunity to practice. Staff there is very friendly and pleasant to talk. Now to the course, its quite hilly links course, where clubhouse is located on one of the hills. Opening hole is easy par 5 with downhill shot, water is easy to clear. You can try to reach green in 2. As it is links course it means not much trees and therfore you can hit it really hard. Roughs were not so thick and easy to find balls. On hole 4 starts the climbing adventure. Not sure if I like those kind of shots but I played well there. I remember few holes but design is not my cup of tea :D . Signature hole with great view is par 3 hole number 12. You will see the surrounding and have great look down on the castle. Finishing on 18th hole uphill next to clubhouse. Catering was very tasty and refreshment with beer after game even better. Quality of the course was good, greens were rolling quite fast and true lines. Fairways just average. The worst part were the showers, they need really some upgrade. I can recommend the course if you like no trees courses.

Nice, well kept place, with long and interesting stages. Local staff language knowledge need some development definitly.

The course is nice, in good shape and a good challenge. The club and staff are great but seemed unorganized and unfortunately the hotel is very basic and dated. Unfortunately it really disappointed us.

Golf in park is perfect activity for families with kids. Golf equipment rental available.

Excellent course apart from being pretty hilly. So be prepared for a long hike. Hotel accommodation very good and service excellent. Great value for money
