TEFL Worldwide Prague

I knew I wanted to pursue a life within TEFL about 2 years prior to moving to Prague. I cross listed several programs and decided to apply to TEFL Worldwide. They provided lots of information prior to coming which helped me get a better idea of what to expect. They were very organized in handling the logistics of students arriving and Prague and getting settled in their apartments. The course itself was incredibly helpful and truly prepared me for this career. However, the course was not simple and it was difficult at times. There was lots of information provided every day and tons of practice time with real students (which makes a huge difference). Yes, the course was challenging, but it truly prepares a teacher for what this career can throw at you. The teacher-trainers were AWESOME and I really enjoyed getting to know them. They constantly conducted great lessons on the Czech language, grammar, lesson planning, everything that is under the TEFL sun. Upon receiving my certificate, I got a job in Prague and I'm enjoying my life as a TEFL teacher. This amazing journey began with TEFL Worldwide and I'm thankful for the opportunities that lie ahead. I hope to continue with TEFL in other countries/continents. In regards to choosing the best program to obtain the TEFL certificate, I STRONGLY recommend TEFL Worldwide.

I attended the August 2022 course knowing that it would be an intensive course which would test my ability to learn and quickly adapt, but what I didn't consider was how rewarding and practical the course would be. In four weeks, I became friends with the other students on the course, and was given support to develop and improve my teaching skills.This is not an online course, and the course isn't easy, but it's obvious that TEFL Worldwide Prague aims to create teachers who are reflective, creative and the best they can be. I couldn't recommend the course enough!

Absolutely would recommend ! This course has changed my life in July 2020.The only thing I knew before I signed up to do TEFL, was that I wanted to move to Prague and learn how to teach English. TEFL Worldwide gave me so much more.I'm not going to lie, I underestimated the amount of work that goes into this course. It is quite challenging ! But don't worry, you're never left without support. Be it from the trainers or your peers. TEFL Worldwide create an amazingly comfortable and supportive environment, to which you want to come back every day, despite the hard work!At the weekends, you get to explore the beautiful city that is Prague with your fellow TEFLers" and sometimes even the trainers

It's been one week since I completed this course, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Yes, it's intensive, but nothing worth doing comes easily. The instructors were all incredibly supportive, and the teaching practice provided invaluable experience that I know will help me as I pursue my teaching career. Beyond classroom instruction and teaching practice, the course also provides multiple opportunities for networking. If you're considering a career in English teaching this is your sign: Buy the ticket, take the ride. You won't regret it.

I was in the June 2022 course. I went to Prague on my own, not knowing what to expect, and was glad of the amount of support I received from the beginning, not only in terms of how to be a teacher, but also support with general living and settling issues all expats have when they come to Prague.The course is extremely intense however, and after week 2, there generally isn't much time for travelling, but you will have plenty of time for that after you graduate.During the four weeks, they mould you from a complete teaching novice in my case, to somebody who can structure and run a 3-hour class.If you've done your research and teaching English abroad is what you want to do, then I would highly recommend this course.

I took the TEFL Worldwide Prague course in summer 2015, and I now teach English in Tokyo, Japan. Learning how to teach English at TEFL Worldwide Prague was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The program was extremely well organized, engaging, interesting and the things I learned are vital to my current job. The trainers are funny, teaching experts and push you to do your very best. I still keep in contact with the trainers and they genuinely care about helping you be a successful, happy teacher. This program was at times very challenging, because there was an intense amount of work required, but there were no frivolous moments. Every piece of information provided, and all of the practice teaching real students was necessary to training how to teach in a real world setting. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to teach English and Prague is the most magical city to experience this course.

I attended the January 2023 course. Here I am almost 2 months after my graduating from TEFL Prague:I am teaching 3 courses, I have my own apartment, I have a circle of friends, I am carving out a life in Prague.All of this was just a dream 2 months ago. 3 months ago this whole existence that I am living was unimaginable. But I am doing it!TEFL Prague provided the tools I needed to get me to where I am at this moment.They set- you up with resources to navigate finding jobs, and securing a VISA to live and work here. AND they provide you with the skills to create, implement, and teach lessons to English Language Learners.Don’t be afraid of the unknown…. It is waiting for you with open arms! TEFL Prague helps guide you to an English Teaching reality that is waiting to welcome you. I highly recommend this program!

I took part in the October 2022 course and was very satisfied during the whole month. This is an intensive course, no doubt, but this program offers a good source of mentors/teachers to help you throughout the whole process. You are never on your own in the whole process whether that is before the course (pre-arrival, flights, accommodation help, etc.), during the course (problems that may arise, course help, etc.), and even after they are still there to answer any questions you might have.At times it will be challenging and it will feel like you have a work overload, but remember that what you are learning during the course and what you can take with you after the course will only benefit you in the end.If you are looking for a great TEFL program, then I highly recommend you to do this course. The training at TEFL Worldwide Prague was very intensive. But if you are prepared to give it 100%, you'll be rewarded with confidence and a general feeling of being ready to teach English to anyone. You get a lot of practical experience, teaching 2 lessons every week, giving you a chance to implement what you've learned and improve with every lesson.The trainers are there to answer your questions and support you with lesson planning, so you grow more confident every day. There is great support from everyone on the team. You get fully submerged in the teaching culture. It's an amazing experience.
