Ate here the first night of our trip to Prague. Just passing and it looked nice so stopped in. I had the schnitzel and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and food was excellent.

Chanced upon this hidden gem while looking for a place to have lunch in New Town. Although they didn’t have an English menu, the waitress was kind enough to translate everything on the menu. Food and beer were great at extremely reasonable prices.

Great daily lunch menu offers. Soup + they offer 5 dishes to pick from , in some days u would wanna try them all. Well cooked.

Lunch menu is cheap and very good. The staff is friendly and fast. Prices are better than ok for this part of town. 130 czk for a meal with soup on average. Only if they would have something else on tap than Staropramen.

We LOVED this place. We stumbled upon it and honestly decided to eat here because they took credit card. We ordered goat cheese salad and the duck with mashed potatoes--and honestly considered ordering another plate despite how full we were. SO DELICIOUS! Great prices and kind service- a hidden gem and the only place on our four week vacation throughout Central Europe that we want to go back to.

We ate here today at 18:00, not many other patrons. The staff seemed more interested in smoking behind the bar but the service was fast. We had the ribs and some duck. The food was passable, but it had probably stewed for hours before we got there. Portions were huge and beer was great, so all in all - meh...

How to start. Waiter doesn't check the order before leaving the table. When you mention that bit, you get a stink eye... Lady at the cashier, let's not call her bartender, is... Well.. rude? You try to help her with English, seeing she's lacking and you get. Guess what. Yep. Stink eye.Used to be a place I used to go to. Not any more.

Even 5 stars are not enough to describe how good the food tastes here! They offer 6 different dishes on their daily lunch menu. I come here everyday and am still impressed. Staff are super friendly and price is very fair too.
