Cozy Czech restaurant, the entrance looks kinda shady, as if you're going into a bar or what not.. But the interior is nice.. Food there was good.. And the prices were surprisingly low. Would recommend.

Friendly waiter, good food, specially the halušky s kuřecím masem a špenátem, relatively not far from the center of Prague.. The place interms of items is very average, over all I will give it 4.2/5 :)

A little bird told us U Skřetů in Holešovice had a mean halušky s bryndzou a špekem traditional Slovak sheep's cheese dumplings w pork lardons + it's 100% true. Cash only. Pšeničné wheat Primator on draught. Basement + covered outdoor patio. Friendly barman. Solid hospoda.

So, they offer strapačky (halušky with cabbage) and halušky with brynza cheese. But if you ask if you can get combination i.e. halušky with the brynza cheese and cabbage the answer is no :-O. One wonders why? Extreme laziness of the cook? Doesn't want to give me one ingredient for free - come on, id' be willing to pay extra. Or simply they have packages from Makro frozen in freezer and they can't combine - the taste would suggest so.Also, they don't accept cards. No problem, I'm perfectly OK with businesses not accepting cards I'll run to ATM, no problem. But still I'm a customer, you can tell me nicely, maybe even apologize - whatever you think about cards I'm still a customer, not tell me We don't

Very authentic Slovak restaurant. The bartender is super friendly and the food is great. Make sure you wash it down with a good beer. Just be aware: no credit cards accepted, only hard cold cash.

Delicious Slovak food and reasonable prices. We loved halušky and pirohy. Šopska salad was also good. Grilled vegetables were ok except for cabbage (grilled too little maybe?). Definitely recommended. Bring some cash as they don't accept cards. Definitely recommended.
