The queue goes fast! However, take cash before coming, there’s an atmclose to the bridge. To pay for the boat you just need to show 1 ID and they note your name/security number. You get 1 hour and just come back when you think the hour is finished. Would come back!

I would definitely not recommend the boat rental! I rented a rowboat for 300. the seller was very stressed, I had to sign quickly and in the stress I didn't notice that I didn't get the 100 change (I gave 400). After the hour of boating nobody wanted to remember me and give me the money back. I could imagine that this is common practice here to get a little more money out of the tourists' pockets. in addition, the rowing boat totally squeaked. Pity!

The river pushed my friends' boat against a small waterfall and they were unable to avoid the boat from falling on it because the provided boat was not in good condition. Despite having an employee in a motorboat nearby, they did nothing to avoid the situation. Fortunately no one fell off the boat, specially considering that no life vests were provided. At the end, we were charged extra for this. This service is an absolute scam without any consideration for the clients' safety. Do not recommend.

A pleasant way to spend a summer afternoonThe paddle boats are an excellent way for couples or friends to spend a summer afternoon. You take the boats from a quay near the Zofin Palace. You will be advised to stay within the yellow bollards (to avoid the weirs). ID is needed, and only cash is accepted (a pedal boat for an hour is 350kc). Lifejackets are optional, but available on request. Once you have got sorted with these things you can paddle out and enjoy the beautiful view of Prague from the Vltava River.

We tried on a Sunday just before lunch. Only a short queue and we had the Retro pedal boat for 500kn/1h. Excellent views of the river, Charles Bridge and castle

The worst experience ever. We got treated very rudely once we crossed some yellow milestones. We happily paid the fine but the whole experience was ruined for us because of the way we got treated although we were not that far at all from the limit but this didn’t stop him from pulling us roughly and asking immediately for the fine.
