This is a must visit place if you really want to know what happened with the heros of the nation.The movie antropoid is based of the real life of these hero’s. The crypts where the final place where they were gunned down.The church is a marvellous architecture. Entry is free to the crypts too.

It’s a beautiful church, rebuilt after the violent destruction made by the German troops in WWII! After visiting the church go in the cripta below and see what happened there! It has been very hard to read all the atrocities committed by nazist troops in this church in 1942! Honor to the soldiers who resisted and died for freedom. A place to visit not too far from the dancing building!

They had an amazing write up of what occurred in the crypt underneath for operation Anthropoid. Would recommend watching the movie called Anthropoid on netflix then visiting the crypt. It's state funded so I advise to bring some coins to donate

I only got to see the outside, as it was closed for visitors. Never the less, I got goosebumps being there. The monument is fantastic. The plates on the pavement to honour those heroes were just as great. I 'm just happy I got to be there and pay my respects.

Important WWII place to visit. This church is important to the Anthropoid operation, and this is also where the Anthropoid movie was filmed. Don’t forget to visit the crypt where the paratroopers hid after the assassination.

Amazing story set in this church. Paratroopers were hidden in the crypt of the church as they were targeted by the Nazis because they had assassinated high-ranking official Reinhard Heydrich as the patriots carried out Operation Anthropoid, one of the most significant acts of resistance in Czechoslovak history. Every year since 1945, the cathedral has held a memorial service on the date of the resistance fighters’ deaths.The museum to the soldiers is in the crypt and is free to enter. It tells the story through photos and objects and film. Well worth a visit. Plus it is lovely and cool during the hot summer months.

The visit to the church is gratis or free the information and cards with the 7 paratroopers are free but you can donate if you want there is a box on the wall silence is appreciated as a mark of respect to the fallen there is a cinema and relics a moving experience and a must to see

Went to visit the crypt and it was one of the most moving experiences of my life. Very well presented. We went on a Sunday morning and the mass was singing above. It was emotional.

Wonderful place, essential place if you want to learn more about the second world war and its heroes from the Czech Republic.Admission to the museum is free.Friendly staff, this visit was a good choice.

If you've seen Operation Anthropoid and ever visit Prague, this is a must see. Beautiful church with a story of absolute heroes and selflessness. Bullet holes still pepper the outside walls. Inside, the church is stunning and has been rebuilt inside. Monuments outside to all of those who were executed following the attempted assassination and death of Reynhard Heidrich.
