I was walking around exploring the city and ran into this gem of a bar! Owner is super friendly, and has many local beers/spirits on hand. This will always be on my go-to bars whenever I return back to this city! Much love!

10th-12th May 2023: The last time I came to Prague was with dad in November 2003. This time I'm older, wiser, more bald and married.Beer & Friends is exactly what it. Tucked away in a back street, we only saw it due to the welcoming blue neon sign in the window. Upon entering everyone was so friendly and we were greeted by a small but adequate whiteboard of tapped ales. We chose the Patchwork/Vagabond Mulberry Imperial Gose 6.5% and the Falkenstein Emil American Pale Ale 3.9%. Plenty of seating in the side room away from the small counter top bar as you enter.

Unfortunately didn't meet the expectations. There are some much more craft beer pubs which are better... It's too raw, ugly and untidy feeling... Maybe it's a purpose, but I didn't like it. Feeling is just cold, with no deeper sense / spirit of this pub. And with connection of quite higher prices, there are definitely better options for craft beer fans.

Awesome bar. Great selection of Czech craft beers, friendly bartenders, WiFi, and a cozy setting - all at a fair price. If you're in Prague and you like beer, don't skip this spot!They also have gluten free beer, non-alcoholic beer, wine, cider, and plenty of harder alcohols (whiskey, gin, etc).
