Amazing engineering with nice historising look. Is possible to visit museum after previous order, make small stroll around or visit the nearby ZOO in Dvur Kralove.

Přehrada Les Království
Unusual but beautiful dam and hydro power plant and popular short stop when driving from Krkonose mountains towards Hradec Kralove (or back). A favourite place for some of the local motorcycle riders.There are few parking spots on each side of the dam and it's possible to walk a short 10 minute route to stretch your legs and check the different interesting buildings around the dam. Last but not least, you can also learn a bit about the history from the information board by the road or grab something in the restaurant nearby.

Fairy tale like valley of the river Elbe, surprise where you would not have expected one. It is quite remote for the walking tourists, but cyclists, occasional canoe lovers and any motoring fans shall spare some hour to get there either as a detour from the mountain range or from rhe nearby ZOO/ Safari @ Dvur Kralove. Probably the cosiest dam in Czech.
