Choco Café

Best hot chocolate in Praha! You can’t miss that if you visit Praha in winter. I was very happy to find this place by chance. Cozy place and friendly people there.

This cafe has a large selection of CHOCOLATE! However, don’t think hot chocolate like the drink it’s more like ... pudding! You can add whipping cream or ice cream so be prepared for a sugar bomb. I had the 70% hot chocolate Peru Pachiza, perfect strength! It’s very thick and great to share.

The mix of flavoured chocolates, hot chocolate menu and standard coffee options provide a unique refreshment opportunity in the centre of Prague. There is another branch of this shop round the corner but this one is more spacious. Booking necessary during holidays.

Good coffee and the barista really knows how to make it. There’s good choice as well including special summer cold coffee offers :-). Cakes are also very good

Very poor customer service. They have a huge selection of hot chocolates so I asked the waitress for her recommendation. She asked me what my preference is (milk chocolate) and I took her advice. The chocolate I got was so sweet that it was not possible to drink it. So I nicely asked to change it. The bartender told me in a rude way that she can make me another one “but I will have to pay for both” (I had not made any comment about paying or not paying at this stage). The second cup was better. When I asked for a bill I saw they charged me for both and they kept claiming it's my fault that “I should have known that the milk chocolate is always sweet and that the dark is not”. (How could I know it? I asked in the begging for the advise and the waitress did not mention it). I paid as it's my vacation and I don't feel like fighting for 130 CZK. Really disappointing. Will never go there again.

Quiet cosy cafe off the tourist trail but still near the main sights. Kind service! We had delicious thick hot chocolate as well as savoury items (quiche and bruschetta), which also tasted great!

The best hot chocolate I have ever had - by far! I selected a 72% chili chocolate and it was served with extra chili powder on the side to mix in at will. I can definitely recommend you to go here and try one of the special hot chocolates or get something from the shop to bring home.

Deliciously thick hot chocolate! It tastes like a melted chocolate bar. I got the Dominicano which has a hint of vanilla. There are so many different cocoa beans from countries around the world, each with its own unique flavor. Ranging from $3 to $6, but worth it! You’ll want a water to go along with the rich chocolate. They add frothed milk if it’s too thick for you. The apple cider with cloves was good as well!
