Love this place!! Cheap drinks and friendly staff members and good atmosphere. Drop by and hang out with the cute bartenders :)Update: came back in 2023 and it was still nice :)

Very bad experience. It couldn’t have been more unprofessional. We booked a table to watch the Eurovision final and when we got there after 40 minutes of bus they told us there was no place (even though there was a table for another group). I can’t understand how a mistake like that can happen. We had to watch the final in our phones in the park because of what they did… I’m sorry guys, but that’s not how you manage a bar.

Went here around half past twelve. Great atmosphere and very nice people but the bartender was very busy and food took forever to arrive. He even forgot about for a bit and we had to remind him. The pizza was good tho. Would come back here

Great bar located in the Vinohrady part of Praha in a safe neighborhood. They carried El Jimador, Tequila which was an added value along with reasonable prices and selection.Bar had a warm and welcoming feel to it from first time we walked in. And the decor is fabulous especially the archaic piano set, hence the name Piano Bar.But our server Tomas was exceptional! He was attentive, friendly, and conveyed a true passion for his job. A true asset to the Piano Bar team. Děkuji

Seemed like a nice enough bar. We were checking it out as a possible spot to watch the 2 Eurovision semi-finals occuring during our holiday in Prague.The good: plenty of seats despite being quite small, with a quieter area away from the screen and music. Toilets also clean.The bad: Beer prices were very reasonable at 45Kc for a bottle of Kozel Cerny but unfortunately I was overcharged by 100Kc when I went to pay. Myself and my partner only had 3 bottles between us. Paying led to confusion when I presented a 200Kc note and the bartender asked for more? I felt embarrassed (I'm British) and so let the chap take some change out of my hand.I think he took 35Kc meaning we paid 235Kc for 135Kc of drinks. I had planned to pay 150Kc to include a tip but left feeling ripped off. I hope this was a mistake but I feel it wasn't. Maybe he assumed I was giving a tip but why not just then take the 200Kc note? We were so obviously tourists and I feel a bit taken advantage of and it has put me off seeing the Eurovision here.Yes, I should have challenged more (I did look at the till screen which clearly said 135Kc, so it was obvious I was questioning the cost), but it was just really awkward. I doubt I'll return now.

So disappointed! We were supposed to spend the night there to watch the Eurovision... we booked a table! Sadly, they overbooked and told us to leave. The behaviour of the staff was really unprofessional. I'm so sad to leave such a bad review in a bar that's usually so well rated, but it reflects my experience here.

Relatively nice, but very small place. The crowd was a mix, nice people and drunk ones. The drunk group were extremely anointing and to some extend aggressive- putting clots over my chair, leaning over me, etc… the staff was nice

My boyfriend and I visited Prague for a long weekend and was keen to go to a bar where we’d be accepted for being gay. We researched online for local gay friendly bars and The Piano Bar was one that repeatedly came up as one of the best gay bars in prague. We decided to on the Sunday evening and it was exactly what we wanted, a clean intimate bar setting; great choice of drinks and music, a great atmosphere and it was a brilliant vibe, so much so we decided to stay there until closing time rather than go to any other gay clubs. The pricing of drinks is amazingly cheap. 2 pints of beer for the uk equivalent of £3.30! Mental! 10/10 will be coming back!
