Bartender came right over and laughing said ...no speak English. Guess we were obvious but we told him we would use Google translate. The French fries were omg delicious with the bacon and cheese that came with 2 homemade dressings..1was a ketchup that was the best I've ever had as a starter. We also had the potato pancakes with Cole slaw. Nice light vinegarette with some spicy sliced peppers. The fried pork and chicken fillets were coked just done tender and lightly breaded but the star was the potato salad with pickles and whole grain mustard seeds and thin sliced red onions. Chef has a wonderful sense for light flavors. Recommend take Google translate. Friendly neighborhood place had locals wit their dogs with them and a nice hot stove in he dining area. Ate more fries than I should. Prices economical.

Amazing must see....Half forgotten hidden gem in Prague....service is not the main reason to go there though the beer is simply amazing and I can't even describe how great the food is :)

The waitress was really looking like we are bothering her with our presence. The food was small and not very good. The prices are ok.

The place has lots of beers that you can choose. Friendly staff. I tried the homemade pancake with blueberry and cream, it was cold. A bit dissapointed by that. And there is just 1 toilet, you have to wait for the person behind you to finish and then you can go. I was standing in a line to women toilet. That was unconfortable tho, especially when you really need to... it also has beautiful garden seat outside.

Simple good Czechia food. Nothing special, but quality is o.k. For this price very good. Unfortunately, there is no English menu. The Waitors are friendly, but not enough good speaking English. Good draft beer and home made lemonade.

There is not really a lot of things that can go wrong with a pub. But this one has nothing but a good Bernard beer (so 2 stars are only because of that). Otherwise, the staff is arrogant and food average. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

I really liked this place — tank Bernard? What's not to like? Great little corner garden, view of the prison (which is just kind of interesting), nice staff. Next time, I'll order some food and perhaps bump my score up to 5!
