TOURIST TRAP 1 star for the view.The waiter did not serve us. We were waiting for half an hour and we got only the menu cards.There is no drink list with price.Three other guests were served during this time ( they were Czech and arrived later than us).When we left the place without ordering the waiter smiled and said: Thank you!I am sure he hates foreigners.We think it was a very good idea to leave the restaurant without ordering.We found a cheaper one in very good quality with nice waiters.I suggest restaurant Drapal ( Havlickova 1, Olomouc).

We usually avoid restaurants on main squares with great views of tourist sites, especially when their name is something like, well, Moravian Restaurant." We're very glad that we broke with tradition this time and stopped in here for dinner

This place is a tourist trap at it´s best. You will never meet a local eating in this kind of place as food quality/price ratio is very bad. Also this place doesnt hesitate to use scam practices. They will serve you almonds and bread without your order and then they will charge you for those items badly. There is a warning on a table tho so you are aware you are being scamed. However no warnings about overpriced drinks not being included on the menu. Also server will not hesitate to kick you off in case you came just to drink even if place is empty. I have to say tho that I got my plate very quickly so at least I did not needed to spend there too much time.

Tourist Trap.8 years ago, I visited for the first time and gained very positive impression. But then I typically visited Entrée during Olomouc visit.Yesterday, I decided to do some classics again… Oh my, how I was dissapointed…Service does a great job. But quality of meals and price level is a joke.I understand it is a prime spot and I would not have any issue with the price, but quality is so average!In example: “a buttery potato mash” is just the most common pottato mash I get from any canteen. I do much better at home. Also in restaurant, I have not seen such old-school mash for ages.And like this, I can continue across the menu we had.They are even so cheapskate, they serve you wine in glasses with logo of producer… and the logo is so washed off, that half of it is missing. Again, I would try my own guests at home a nicer glass.Maybe tourists find it it acceptable. But this place is just ripping you.. wake up.

Really beautiful folkloristic interior, amazing service and really delicious food. I totally recommend the beef sirloin with cranberries. I loved the creamy and sweet sauce which matched perfectly with the more sauer taste of the cranberries.

We enjoyed the dinner at this place. Service was of high standards, but the price tags were a bit higher. You can certainly get the same quality at lower prices in restaurants nearby. They even charge you for crackers that were on the table when we arrived.

We were here in December 2021.Recommended by our tour director. After shopping at the Christmas market, we went here to eat. The place was crowded and no open tables. But the owner told us not to worry and to follow him.He sat us at a nice secluded table.. Chef’s table. We had an outstanding waiter.He was very protective of us, our clothes and made us very comfortable.The schnitzel that we ordered, the soup, the wine, … out of this world. We were in 7th heaven, in our own little nook, eating a great meal. Was a wonderful experience. I so recommend eating here if you go to Olomouc to see the Astronomical clock.Loved this place and the stuff. So kind,so courteous.Please, do yourself a favor if in the vicinity and eat here.

Moraska is a very nice restaurant. It is located on a beautiful square in a wonderful historic building. The menu has the best of the local and national Czech dishes, prepared well and with good ingredients. The restaurant has a nice wine list too with many local and regional wines as well. The staff is very professional and friendly, even funny, and they also speak English and German. We enjoyed our meal and experience there on a good terrace, with a nice view of the lovely square.

An old restaurant in the national style. Delicious national cuisine. Great service. The prices are acceptable.
