Staff in cafe Trieste were two lovely friendly waitresses , smiling charmingly and acting spontaneouslyNice atmosphere, reasonable prices.I had this traditional desert called Větrník" it means literally "windmill" hence the circular shape of the choux pastry and the wavy shape of the stuffed whipped cream.I would honestly say that it is a circular éclair coated with crunchy caramel

Good coffee and nice interior, but be careful not to get scammed. We payed 230 kč with a 500 kč note, but we only got a few coins in return. Waitress went on to prepare drinks, while we waited for her to give us the rest of our change. Nothing happened. Then we asked her for the ticket, to which she replied by giving us the rest of our change right away, as if she was already planning to do that and we were rude to ask. Bad experience. Also not very customer friendly to not have a menu. It takes a few minutes to make one, right ?

Wonderful place to watch the sunset over the square and taste amazing coffee, fresh orange or grapefruit juice and the cakes!! Garden open even in the winter (in spite of Olomouc rules ;) and always at least one cute dog enjoying the view.

It was the only one bar that was open at 8 am, the owner was very kindly and the coffee supreme, with a still warm croissant.
