Terrible strudel, bad approach by waiter and waitress, i dont know if they are owners, but i definitely dont recommend to go in that place, seems that you are doing a favor to eat there, they are always complaining, and running, when we told to pay separated the guy complained, snorted, and so on, they need to learn how to treat people, and also they need to hire more people to work.

The reviews don't do this place justice! Excellent spot for breakfast. We got the avocado toast with eggs and crepes, they were both amazing. Plus a great outdoor patio and view.

This restaurant is in the old town Kutná Hora situated at the center of the square. The food is good quality but the choices are limited. We were a bit disappointed when certain basic meals featured on the menu were not available. The service was decent but much slower than what we expected in the downtown location frequented by tourists. The advantage of the place is it's central location especially in good weather when guests can sit outside and enjoy the view.

Very cozy restaurant there with nice and friendly staff with good food. Highly recommend sausage and hot chocolate. Pls expect hot chocolate in Czechoslovakia is very rich and thick like soup, but nice to have it once a while, especially under cold weather.

We had really good breakfast here - surprisingly good eggs benedict with salmon, really good coffee (espresso and also americano). I wish they also had fresh juice :) Service was good, too. We definitely did not experience any of the issues mentioned by others

STAY AWAY FROM CAFE LAVANDE! The old male owner is rude to customers and constantly yells from the kitchen. We took our 3 kids for breakfast to the cafe on our last morning staying in this beautiful town, and from the moment we walked in he was rude. It took 15 minutes to get menus (where he thre them on the table and walked off). When he finally took our order he then told my 3 kids they couldn't have the milkshakes they ordered as it would take to long and he has other customers to serve. He was impatient with us (as we could only speak english). The only thing that stopped us walking out was we were in a rush to drive to our next stop. The young women serving were great. He is clearly in the wrong business or needs some major customer service skills, a smile and some personality. He should remember its tourists that keep these businesses alive! Please retire old boy!

Of you want to eat tasty breakfast before sightseeing, this place offers really good food. We didn't wait long for it and the service was really nice. The food were AMAZING. Furthermore, this was the only one open cafe so early in the morning.

Food was at most so-so, menu prices are deceiving since on your bill there will be 10% surcharge for the service" basically for the fact of bringing your meal from the kitchen to your table. Unbelievable but there were people giving tip anyway
