Alvazo Grill & Restaurant
The restaurant had a warm and cozy atmosphere, thanks to the dim lighting and comfortable black leather chairs. The friendly waiter greeted us as soon as we walked in, and even the chef came to the door to say hello.The background music was just right, with some lovely jazz tunes playing at a volume perfect for a family gathering or friendly conversation. The English menu was a huge plus, making things very convenient. For starters, we ordered the tomatoe soup and fried squid rings from the Tapas menu. The soup was delicious, with juicy tomatoes and a hint of sour and sweet flavors, a refreshing change from the canned tomato sauce used at some restaurants. The fried squid rings were good, but not the best I've had. The squid was fantastic, but there was something about the batter that didn't quite hit the mark. Despite that, it was still delicious and I wanted more, but for 95 CZK, I can't really complain.We also ordered the mix grill for 2, which was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The platter included a pork tomahawk with a delicious balance of meat and fat, juicy lamb chops with the signature lamb aroma, a pljeskavica that was a bit thinner than I would've liked, pork ribs that could have used a bit more sauce, a variety of sauces, regular fries, and really good bread. The side salad was fresh and had a good amount of fried veggies.I do wish there was a better non-alcoholic drink selection, but I don't want to comment on the beer and wine menu. Other than that, it was a solid 5 out of 5 stars. The only downside was the lack of people, which I suspect is due to the location being not very convenient without a car. This is a shame because the restaurant serves good food and has great service. The waiter was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Just a heads up, there's no parking right in front of the restaurant and parking across the street can result in getting towed. I parked on the next street behind the building, but I'm not sure if parking in the next building is okay. They accept both cash and card as payment.

Nice surprise in Trutnov.Modern restaurant just next to the roundabout nearby the Tesco, just few meters from the main road to the mountains, visible from the street.We tried various dishes from daily menu and every single one was delicious.Soup, pljeskavica stuffed with cheese and home made potato coins" and tzaziki was excellent

We spent a night in Trutnov and hotel's personnel recommended this place. The food was very delicious, starting from the shrimp scewer, ending rib-eye stake. My wife got a turkey breast and the gorgonzola sauce lacked flavour, but the meat was fresh and very juicy. Rib eye was great, cooked perfectly. Recommending this place

Do not be turned off by the location and take the 2 stairs up to this nice restaurant that serves nice meats and seafood. Friendly help and doing just that bit extra to make you happy. They served my perfectly rose grilled steak with my requested garlic-parsely butter, that wasn't even on the menu. And did a very good job on it. Hope they will put it on the menu :-) I will totally come back for it !

By far the best restraunt I have ever been to. Staff are on point, service exceptional and dogs welcome. What's more the food was perfect. Well done Alvazo Grill.
