Surprisingly pleasant for what it is.This is a place you reach after a 45 minutes hike and it is situated close to a viewing deck, so you do not expect much. Yet the food is rather decent and the service surprisingly friendly. This is, of course, not an elegant place. But cosy and well run.Definitely better than anticipated.

We were sitting on the terrace, but the inside is spectacular as well, fully immersed in the forest. Nice selection of Czech specialties, i liked the deer, but non-game dishes are better value..

It was very busy today, so the staff was trying to keep up. It took rather long to place our order but once this was done the food came rather prompt. I had Spaghetti with mushrooms and I was positively surprised. That were proper wild mushrooms with flavour, not the average frozen stuff from the supermarket. Very nice indeed.

After a cold day, we decided to go into the restaurant to take some hot drink, but first we were waiting a lot to give the order, second we listened how the most older waitress said to another one a kind of argument with another one. And. The better was when they give us the bill without we ask about it. The stranger was that we just have our drink. If they hope that we recommend to come someone to here with this behavior to the guest. Obviusly I said no!Totally a 0 in service.

Beautiful spacious place with gorgeous food and snacks, local beer and hot drinks. Very nice spot with friendly staff to spend some time treating yourself after climbing up the hill. Watch out for the white peacock!

Excellent place amidst nature and forest. Next to Diana lookout tower. Had some tea and apfelstrudel with whipped cream and icecream. Totally loved it. The strudel was warm, and paired with cold icecream, was a sheer treat. Also enjoyed view of peacock that was outside the restaurant. I would totally recommend this place

Nice place to enjoy a good on top of the hill. The service is fast and friendly. Waitresses speak English, German, Russian and Czech.The menu did not have much of the vegetarian choices but meats variety was quite generous - apart from regular choices the place offers wild pigs and deers.
