Vyborný cheeseburger s jemným masem z grillu. Kuchař zmínil, že maso na burger si nechává dvakrát namlít a rozdíl je opravdu znát. Doporučuji!!

Great potential but the restaurant did not deliver, literally.The visit started promisingly with nice, rural surroundings and well-styled seating. The menu boasted a variety of traditional Czech and international dishes, which we found enticing but also slightly confusing. Is this a restaurant serving traditional Czech cuisine or is this place about being international? About half the items on the menu were not available. Maybe sticking to one identity/fewer items would do? Burgers, of which there were several tasty sounding options spelled out on a cute chalkboard, seem to be the restaurant’s go-to dish. But the restaurant was down to their last burger bun (at lunchtime on a Sunday!). To make things simple, I ordered kulajda, a traditional Czech soup, and pickled camembert, a staple in many Czech restaurants with a relatively long shelf life. Then we waited some 40 minutes. Too long for a soup in my view, especially given that only four tables were occupied. But the soup was outstanding, topped with a properly prepared, delicious pouched egg. Then we waited some more. Again, way too long. Seeing waitress approach our table with food perked us up. But my excitement was quickly thwarted as the waitress, after dropping off four plates for our party of five, and while picking up speed to leave us, hastily mentioned that there was no pickled camembert for me (you can insert your own reference to the relevant Seinfeld episode here). They were out! Mind you this dish only required taking out of a jar, putting on a plate, and bringing to me with a slice of bread. How it took so long to find out this item was not available still puzzles me. Even more puzzling was that I was given no option to get something else. Maybe I was too slow stopping the waitress from leaving our table as my jaw dropped, rending me temporarily speechless. Maybe the waitress was simply too fast for me even if I was fully capable of speaking up immediately. Regardless, we ended sharing dishes, which were average at best. We were left with rather mixed feelings—an appealing rural location and a clean design gives this restaurant great potential. The menu maybe tries to do too much, but fine. But the service and overall quality of food across items leaves too much to be desired.

Normal place for beer average food

Puvodne asi dobre mysleny a nadejny projekt restaurace nedaleko Prahy. Vysledkem v roce 2023 je ale velmi smutna zkusenost charakterizujici ceskou gastronomii a zaostavani cele zeme. Obsluha se snazi ale nestiha a nepamatuje si objednavky. Jidelni listek ma oproti nize nafocenemu sotva tretinu polozek. V nedeli v poledne cekate na velmi prumerne jidlo 85 min. Caesar salat neni dobre pripraven. Burger ma ocas a je pepepreny. Dojdou bulky na burger. Dosel hermelin. Jedina priloha jsou hranolky nebo kase. S tim ovsem kontrastuje vynikajici kulajda, perfektne pripravena a dochucena. Cele to tedy nedava vubec smysl. Restaurace ma neujasneny koncept, nedostatek personalu a opravdu ukazkove spatny management. Vim ze podnikat v pohostinstvi neni jednoduche, vzdy se ale da udelat neco vice proto aby to nebyla ostuda a neprijemna zkusenost ktere se pak celou cestu domu smejete v aute a dlouho se o tom bude jeste vypravet.

Big portions and cheap prices.

Při vyjížďce s veteránem jsem v malé vesničce narazil na tuhle skvělou restauraci hned vedle jízdáren. Příjemný interiér, skvělá obsluha i majitel a jídlo také super. Nemám co vytknout, děkuji. Určitě se zase stavím.

We were the only people there- they were kind enough to keep us schnitzels although that wasn't on the menu. Food good.
