One of the Absinthe dens of Brno. Sort of steam punk interior, which I quite liked. The staff is awful most of time. That's a great con. Also be prepared for a LOT of smoke. If you're smoker and forgot your cigarettes at home, don't worry Desert got you covered. There is enough of smoke for everyone. Even for those, who don't smoke :(. Overall it's definitely interesting place, with wide selection of Absinthe, unusual interior, funny people to meet and foosball. Give it a shot, maybe you will like it, maybe you won't.

Good place by needs to improve on cleanliness, because the smell before I got inside the bar was not ok. I only gave 3 stars because the food I really good mainly their pickled cheese and the drinks are really good too.

The service is really bad. Sorry for coming to spend money in your bar, my bad won't do it again... Everytime I pass the door I feel like I'm bothering the barmaid... She even took my glass away as I went out for a cigarette, although I had left all my stuff with the glass, showing obviously that I was coming back... The glass was at least half full... This was the one thing too much in that bar that doesn't even have anything to offer, no concept, no events, no live music, no effort...

One of my favorite bars in Brno.Large selection of alcohol, very cozy atmosphere.You can smoke directly in the room.There is also a foosball & pool, the prices are quite low.Someone could be surprised that there are visitors with dogs.

Underground pub with occasional concerts. Nothing fancy but I like the atmosphere there. Good beer and a football table. We used to go for absinthe there :) Unfortunately, if crowded, you need to wait for beer a long time in the queue

This is my favourite place in Brno. Staff are friendly, they know English, and the place is cozy. This is definitely not an upscale place but the beer is tasty, they have a variety of alcoholic drinks and you will definitely meet new people every time you go there.

True underground in Brno. Used to be very filthy place. It kept it's vibe but added decent selection of beers and cheap alcohol. Sometimes there's a good concert. Prepare yourself. It is nothing for the weak.

A great place to meet locals, friendly locals. Though, I came during the summer holiday, so there wasn't any events or live music that night.Nevertheless, I met a few friendly regulars who bought me drinks. And, be careful, because the Czechs can really drink. Absinthe shot after absinthe shot. I walked out staggering to my bicycle, and yet the three of them remained in the bar, drinking the night away.Check when there is live music, and try to go during those times. Fun place with a great bartender.

4 stars only cose of the interior design ala captain Nemo on drugs:) especially behind the bar section. Otherwise staff seems not happy people visit this place in numbers:)
