very nice zoo, located on a side of a mountain. lots of playgrounds for kids and nice animal shows. the entrance doesn't do the zoo justice. it gets much better when you entered it.

Definitely consider buying a ticket for a train" which will take you on top on the quite steepy hill. There're a lot of attractions for kids

Nice little zoo. As an American it was a pleasant surprise they have a lot of stuff in English. We bought season passes and intend to use them heavily. In the summer we like to start at the top of the zoo and work down hill but in November they only have the main bottom entrance open. They have enough indoor places that even in the fall it's been great to go and not be in the cold the entire time. Great zoo!

Parking can be tricky, but you can park at the top of the zoo. The entrance at the top is about 40 metres away. Be prepared for lots of hills and walking. Plenty of places to eat and drink. One of the food outlets required cash, so be prepared if you want some refreshments.

It was interesting visit for me. Plenty of different animal's . Zoo is located on one large hill ( the South slope of the hill behind Elba river is dedicate to Zoo). It is 2 entrances one from down side and one from top side. Unfortunayely place for parking and to find both entrances are not designated well. Zoo is well maintained and equipped. I was surprised by number of aquariums and terrariums with wide variety of spieces.

Amazing zoo and it is very big. I was so surprised of the variety of animals.I have a feeling the animals are cared for very well. Also the amenities are very good toilets and possibility to buy drinks everywhere.Be aware thet the zoo is on a mountain and that you will we walking upwards a lot (unless you take the train)

The zoo is small. Safe and very steep. You can really get close to the animals. Petting zoo and pony rides. A train can take you up so that you can walk down (at a cost).Some of the enclosures have been completely renovated so things are on the up.No elephants anymore! The last elephant has been moved to a zoo in France, which is understandable given that they are social animals. The last elephant spent a long period alone.Good day. The kids enjoyed it.

Very positive vibes and a nice area. Make sure to arrive in specific times listed on their website. We came in the afternoon and not many animals were seen.
