ATODA Medical

Do not visit this medical center for dermatology. Its ridiculous. 5000kc for a load of creams I didn't need whcih turned out to be nothing more than expensive sudocream. I had to go to another expat place to get normal treatment. If you don't have czech insurance they regard you as a cash cow to fleece.Overall it would work out cheaper to fly to London and visit a Harley street doctor who treats you with respect.

My experience here was horrible. They are very nice and responsive to emails before you pay a membership fee. Appointments are available fairly fast, even if you rebook. Registration fee of 1000 czk has to be paid within 24h. Initial appointment starts on time. From there it is all just downhill.Nurse cannot take blood sample from the first try. GP spend majority of the half an hour appointment literally transcribing from a specialist paper that I gave to her, even that nurse made a copy. She was asking completely irrelevant questions about my grandparents (I am almost 40, it would be strange to have alive and healthy grandparents). Exam is like when a child is playing doctors with you - blood pressure monitor is one of those intended for home use, ECG is ancient and the good doctor is using taps to determine... something? I explicitly asked for one blood parameter to get checked and she agreed. But it wasn't. I asked why, email was ignored.I assumed that it might be just a human mistake and that another GP might be a bit more attentive - so I sent an email to book another appointment with another GP. No answer. So I called. After I explained what is wrong I got offered a PHONECALL with a GP. I guess they expect me to send them the blood sample via Facebook. But okay, I get the appointment scheduled for the next day at 8h. I showed up even earlier. After waiting for 25 minutes I just decided to leave and tell them to cancel my membership. Then I receive a phonecall from a GP that I was waiting for asking me to share health issue details via phone (even that I already said that will not work for me).This place is so money hungry, unprofessional and incompetent that I am beyond words. Their arrogance really shines if you complain about their work. I never received such rude and passive-agressive emails like from this place. I know that some people have good experience with this facility, but they obviously profile people based on their country of origin or brands of their clothes - if you don't fit, better don't show up. I requested to cancel my membership all together and they are charging me 7500 czk for this experience: 2900 czk for the 30 minutes examination by the doctor that was not even listening to me but transcribing my own medical records, incomplete blood tests are 3000 and ECG done with the machine that dates before my granma was born - 1500 czk. And for all that money they didn't even came to check why I contacted them in the first place. I was charged frivolous amount of money, because not even all services are listed on their website, but even for those listed - I was charged more. Of course, they denied to send me any proof of payment for services they charged, stating that it is not possible. I never received any real invoice for services I paid.For that amount of money I could get checked in Germany by real doctors, but I guess it is the price for learning.

My only regret is that I didn't sign up for a membership years ago! From the very first meeting with my GP (which was 90 minutes and she was really listening, nothing felt rushed) I have had really positive encounters with all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Atoda. They really do their best to make you feel comfortable and cared for. They take a holistic look at your health, the information is shared between doctors, and you can choose to see a specialist within the clinic or get a referral to another doctor where you insurance would cover so it's very flexible to your needs and budget. Most of all it just took all the stress out of visiting doctors and turned it into a pleasant and caring experience. Highly recommend.

This doctors are highly recommended. Good atmosphere, professional and cozy. You can reserve and it not crazy expensive.

Atoda medical is not a just any medical clinic, it is a home away from home,when you need care for your children. From the time you walk in,till you leave, you feel welcome, you feel cared for, you feel understood. The Reception is clean, spacious, all the female and male receptionists were well trained and had impaccable manners, you see 2 sofas, large table for patients, beautiful & calming art on the walls, Czech ,English,German books on the shelf, if you get thristy ,while waiting, refreshments are available to you immediatelly. Bathrooms are on the premises as well. Doctors rooms are well lit,clean, equipped with tools needed for your care. I have comunicated with Atoda medical vias phone and email,and they were always prompt to reply. I highly recomend Atoda medical to individuals and Families. My children saw MUDR. Podstolska,who was kind, never rushed, was knowlagable,easy to communicate with, spoke Czech and English ( I am Czech, married abroad).

My husband and I have been patients at this clinic for almost 3 years. I highly recommend ATODA Medical for medical care. ATODA Medical is able to provide for all of my medical needs (ie, general practitioner, dermatologist, orthopedist, neurologist, and physical therapist). The quality of care is outstanding. The doctors and staff speak English very well. I am able to get an appointment in a timely manner. Both my husband and I are blessed that ATODA Medical is an outstanding medical facility.

experienced some logistical / organisational issues. there is a booking fee required to be paid beforehand within 24 hrs (or else booking is cancelled), but the clinic failed to send in the relevant payment info until i remembered & contacted them. the appointment never happened, as the doctor happened to be on a sick leave; again, the place failed to inform me beforehand. effectively lost 1 month of time waiting for an appoinment, which never happened.

Called them to become the member of annual program..their manager never called me back despite that every time I called I’ve been promised to receive the call next day as they put a note in her schedule. Very unprofessional attitude

I highly recommend Dr. Sausen Sladkova. Thanks to her, I found out about food intolerances that had been bothering me for a long time. She is very systematic, knowledgeable and dedicated to her patients.

If you're an expat or english speaker in Prague, this is the place to go. The staff and doctors are always very responsive, they have a lot of specialists in-house, and will help coordinate any outside services you need if you are a member (for a very good price in my opinion). The coordinating services and helping to navigate the Czech healtcare system was really crucial for me because I don't speak Czech; I had several small procedures, surgery in a hospital and an MRI. I would highly recommend ATODA.
