We got menus and then information that cannot place food order. Then when we were leaving they said we didn't pay our drinks inspite of the fact that we did. Very bad experience.

Just now we finished dinner the atmosphere was nice food was good but the service was poor. If the waiter cannot bother to clear the used ashtray no tip sorry you did not do the minimum. He did suggest the house beer - it was about 9:00 and we were told the kitchen was closing so we had to order even though my wife pointed out people came after, we seated and ordered and ate after us.Best part I had to go inside to pay after calling out to the waiter - my wife stated he heard us but ignored us - the other table next to us was paying.When inside the waiter explained paying a card I could leave a tip.I’m an American I normally tip well - then I tried to politely explain he did not do the minimum of cleaning the ashtray we had to look and smell used butts durning our meal and he did not deserve a tip at all, did not check on us durning the meal and I had to come into pay.Then his colleague in Czech got into the discussion - I was trying to explain why I did not tip and how to improve and I was told other people tipped, it was busy bla bla bla not the customer is right rather you should be ashamed for not rewarding poor service.I was called and idiot… remember I’m the guy paying for the meal.Do these “kretens” my response to them not the waiter the colleague not realize there is a thing called a review on the experience.They won the moment.I will let you know what to expect.Otherwise it was a lovely evening with my wife.

We were overcharged and I am sure it is because we are Americans. We were charged 112 Kc for 1 glass of wine that was on the menu for 28 KC. Then the waiter stated the menu had changed because the supplier couldn’t get that wine. Complete Bull!!! We were also charged for 2 beers and 4 more drinks that we didn’t order. Then he tried to charge 229 ck fir goulash that was on the menu for 185!!!! Stay away from this place!!

Food ranged from decent" to "pretty good for a tourist trap." Service isn't as good. This place won't serve voda točená (tap water) despite it being on the menu. Look

well, should we speak about such high prices for very very standard czech food? you know, the one you get at the pub next to the football club in any city of the country but for 60% the price.

Despite the fact this place is in the historical city centre, we were disappointed with the food and the service. Food wasn't really tasty even the decoration wasn't worth it, so I didn't take any pics. We had a dessert but the cream wasn't homemade, even though the waiter assured us, that it is. Prices are higher than offered quality.

Very nice Czech restaurant for typical Czech food.The service is friendly good and quick. The quality of the food is also very good. Exactly what you expect from the Czech kitchen.This place is on the central square, but the prices are low for this locality.The toilets could be cleaner.When you are hungry and want good local food for an honest price I really recommend this place.

Worth it!! Good traditional Czech food,excelllent house brewed beer. I recommend it while in Tabor!!
