The cashier marked us products wr didn't buy for a total of almost 1000 czk. Unfortunately we were in a hurry and noticed it later on. Worst buying experience EVER! I've never seen a theft such this!

Need to be careful with the price 1st price is excluded VAT.At times shelves have different prices than the actual price.Special attention is required while buying fresh fish.Price is different based on size. Otherwise can be a surprise when paying the invoices.

It's a great place to shop. There's an excellent choice of meat, cheese, dried produce and fish. Fruit section is ok I guess. Fridges are there but not much in them. Oh, a very large selection of hard liquors and wine. I'm not much of a drinker so I kinda remembered about it the last :)All you need is either get a temp paper card at the gate, which doesn't always work in my experience. Or get some company to request a card for you - your own or your friend's, or the company you work for.

Makro is the Czech brand for the Metro franchise. As any other Metro warehouse,is accessible just for companies & other registered entities. But access gives the way to some shopping paradise. Mainly food & house keeping stuff are available,but in an astonishing assortment. Prices are not always extremely low,as one could expect,but almost always good, sometimes very good, in a few cases extremely good (for example, seafood from France or cheese from Italy). Huge parking lot underground. Far from centre, on western outskirts. No car, no visit at all.

Prices are good, but the bigest avantage is the diversity, the best place in Prague to found fresh fish, vine and whisky at good price! To be honest I don't know for the rest....

Good selection of goods including fruits, alcohol and cheeses. Access only for registered businessman (you have to have company, be designated by your employer or have IČO"). Borrowing the card from someone is absolutely not a problem."

Pros:- decent selection of all product categories- very good fish meatCons:- limited parking- zero local products- limited offer of bio and environmentally cautious productsPersonal experience:- Rude staff shelving products- very nice cashier who looked she is going to pass out due to work load- seems like not a friendly environment for a client as well as the employees …which is probably an old school standard in the Czech Republic

huge shop, lots of staff, but still not everything you need. For example they have my favorite tea brand Harneys&Sons, but only 3 kinds of tea from them.Also expensive. you can buy cheaper in Vietnamese stores or in Lidl, overpriced vegetables and fruits.

It's a great place to buy food and anything at large numbers. The prices for for example a 18-pack of cokes is great compared to other places this close to Prague. They also have a number of sales going on at all times during the day. There's also an outside parking lot as well as an inside parking lot, which are both very easy to access with anything you purchase. This is especially useful with a larger amount of products. The selection is wide with a number of things you won't be able to find in other stores.
