Un buon posto dove poter mangiare un menù di pranzo e contribuire a una buona causa.Ci sono solo due scelte di menù, quindi per chi è intollerante a certi cibi potrebbe non andare bene.

The lunch menus have reasonable prices, and taste quite good. Although this is in a university building, the standard here is above that of a typical canteen—and it looks like a hip and cute bistro.Most of the servers didn’t speak English when I visited though, so I had to try to speak Czech when ordering my food. (EDIT: some of the servers did speak English to me, so this varies from day to day.)This place is very busy during lunch hours, and there are many students from the Faculty of Arts here. Almost all the tables were full when I visited, but I could find a seat. (I think it’s a little odd that some people are working with their laptops here, since the Jan Palach Library is just a floor away.)There are baked goods, coffee, and a freezer with ice cream here as well.The food I tried so far:Potato leek soup (6/10)Chicken and mushrooms with white wine sauce on rice (7/10): This makes me think of caifan (rice and toppings) back in Singapore, but this uses longer basmati rice instead.Lemonade (8/10)Mixture with vegetables, bulgar (6/10)Větrník (7/10)Mushroom goulash with boiled potatoes (7/10): I like the juicy, big mushrooms in this.

I'm a student of Charles University, and the caffe staffs were too impolite to the custmers. They always laugh and talk loudly while I work on and when I complained about it in person, they cursed me. I already talked with the school staff about that and I'll never go there.

Cute university bistro. They serve coffee, fresh juices, they do lunches, usually about three choices or so. And part of the staff are disabled and this is they chance to have a job.

Estuve en enero y la comida es sencilla pero estaba buena, comimos 3 menús y 4 bebidas por 445 czk...muy bien de precio y la calidad muy buena, se ve que está hecho con cariño el personal amable e hicieron lo posible por entendernos ya que no es un lugar donde vayan turistas de habla castellano. Recomiendo 100%

The food is very tasty with some high quality aromas. Definetly a try. I had the chicken at dirst and then some pork meat. Both were very nice, but I had a thing for the chicken.
