The history of the abyss is very interesting. I recommend going down to see the abyss from the inside. You can also take walk from Hranice to Teplice via the abyss. There are nice viewpoints, nature and it is not far at all.

Fácil acceso, bien indicado, excursión corta, un lugar bonito, cuidado si se va con criaturas pequeñas es peligroso.

Hranice abyss is the second deepest fresh water abyss in the world with confirmed depth of 442,5 metres. Unfortunately there is not much to see as the abyss is overgrown with trees and the view is very limited.
