Perfect spot for strength and lifting - not for those who need a bunch of treadmills etc, but all of the lifting, conditioning and free weigh tools you could need and more. Awesome crew and environment too.

The Best gym in Prague, probably in Czechia. Big focus on strength here, but over all great for bodybuilding or explosive training. They have a lot of equipment you will not find anywhere else in a big radius. Also the environment is very uplifitng. Might be a little intimidating for a beginner but no one will look at you weirdly. Over all great. 5*

If you want to get fit and lead a healthy lifestyle, Iron Base Gym is the place to be!I have been visiting this gym for quite a long time now, and every time I had no issues with anything. The price is very acceptable compared to other gyms in Prague-center or near. It’s 250 Czech crowns per adult and 150 per student. The staff is always nice and polite if you need help they will help you (experienced on my own). The equipment is new and always clean, I have also noticed they have been buying new machines in the time I’ve been working out there. You can use it for all kinds of sports disciplines like strongman, weightlifting, or powerlifting. What I have noticed is that they are the only gym in Prague that offers free cold water from a fridge, not some old rusty sink, which is a big plus for me.In conclusion, I would definitely recommend it to anybody who is interested in fitness or just wants to work on themselves.

Great gym for strength athletes! Ideal conditions for prepping for a powerlifting meet or Strongman competition. A major downside is the absence of legpress and also only one competition bench..

I am a visitor from Hong Kong and just stay for a few days. I was looking for a gym that I can complete weightlifting training session. I feel very fortunate to train at this gym even just one day. It was just a great gym simply because people there take training seriously. Very nice powerlifting weight room and thanks allowing me to do weightlifting there. As a bonus, I am lucky enough to witness a gentleman did his deadlift 270kg x 3 reps. Amazing !!! Iron Base is a very suitable name indeed.

Exceptionally well-equipped gym that is tailored more towards strength sports (machines for isolating muscles groups are also present). They have a wide variety of barbells, strongman gear (logs, sandbags, farmer's carries, etc.).The staff is very nice and helpful (free ice water, towels and a range of hygiene products in the changing rooms).Cannot recommend this place enough.
