The best place I ate in Prague.Staff was nice and the food was very good.The price was acceptable for what we had.Some noisy Dutch customers broke a bit the atmophere but is a very nice place to visit.

Restaurace U Mecenáše
The restaurant is situated in the Malá Strana and has really cozy atmosphere. The staff speaks English and it is friendly and polite. The draft beer Gambrinus (unfiltered) is really good. The tables outside have a view of the Morový sloup Nejsvĕtĕjší Trojice and Pražský hrad. Highly recommend!

5 stars for the service. 4 stars for the food. 2 stars for the seats. we were seated next to plants, so lots of annoying little insects flying around the whole time. some of these little flying things soon got into our food, plates, and clothing. it made the dining experience less pleasant.

Excellent restaurant with delicious food. Traditional Czech, excellent quality, much better compared to the ones near the old town central square. 600 years old building and kind personnel.

Restaurace U Mecenáše serves delicious Czech cuisine - this is by far the best Czech food I’ve tasted in Prague! The Pork dish I had was beautifully tender, with soft, fluffy, and creamy traditional pancakes, a rich gravy, and fresh sauerkraut which provided the perfect contrast. The staff were friendly, and the interior is styled as a traditional Czech inn: warm, cosy, and soft. I would highly recommend a visit!

So far the best lunch in Prague, I ordered Hovezi Klizka, it was so good that I’m thinking about coming back here and try more food. Beer was also good as usual, service was top notch. Restaurant was very clean, smelled and looked really fresh.

A nice place to enjoy your dinner together with the family or friends in the Malstrana area.Close to public transport and just I. The opposite of St. Nicholas church, you can also enjoy outdoor dining by looking at this beautiful church.Friendly staff members will help you to choose the meal, serving you professionally and also providing a toy for the children to occupy them.The indoor dining area has multiple sections which can serve for groups, couples and also ordinary family dining.The food is tasty and of good quality.Electronic card transaction does not incur an additional surcharge.
