Not close to centre but not too far,this vehicle survey centre offers both overhauling & assessment services in one place. Standard prices. Modern technical structure. Fast service. Don't count on any foreign language spoken,not even very basic russian.

I understand they don't have to speak any foreign language and that's fine, but even when trying very hard to speak my very limited Czech, the receptionists were extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Completely uncalled for.

Technical and emissions check in one place. Friendly staff. A lot of parking lots, so customer can comfortably park. I went there early morning and checks completed in one hours time.

I went to the STK workshop as I had to import my car from Italy to the Czech Republic. Not knowing a word of Czech I was worried, but the operators were very kind and helpful, and they followed me in every step (the complete technical check costs 3.100 CZK). Fully satisfied, I highly recommend it to all expats who don't know how to register their car here. I'll be back for the biennal MOT.

I have to say really unprofessional service, I called and tried to speak in English, because my Czech is not that good, and the person on the other side just hung up after I asked her if we could speak English. She didn't even try to help me or connect me with anyone else.

I was second in a queue (I've been there since 6:30) and yet I came in sixth. Apparently, local technicians have a lot of friends who need their control done. Other than that, staff was professional and I've been gone soon enough.
